Harry walked into the room I was in and looked at me with a worried expression.

"Uncle Remus, are you sure it's safe for you to be here?" he asked.

I smiled at him and gently patted his cheek.

"Don't worry, Harry. I'm here to protect Isabella," I reassured him. "Once I find Greyback and take care for him, I'll head back home. I know your aunt will give me an earful, but I can't let that monster get anywhere near my daughter."

I felt a pang of guilt as I spoke. Leaving them was one of the hardest things I'd ever had to do, but I couldn't bear the thought of her being harmed. As long as Greyback was still out there, my little girl would never be able to grow up normally.

As Isabella's father, my priority is her safety and protection.

"Still, you could have taken them out of the country, right? He won't follow that far." Harry suggests, trying to reason with me.

I shake my head, "And then Isabella can't ever return? I wouldn't let her back as long as the monster lives." I clench my hands together in anger at the thought of Greyback still being out there, a constant threat to my daughter's well-being.

"Are you sure Auntie will understand?" Harry asks, looking at me with concern.

"Why would you ask that? Of course she would; she knows it's for Isabella." My heart swells with love and determination as I think of my daughter, knowing that I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe.

"Uncle Remus, I feel like you are using Isabella as a shield to hide your true intentions. It's not just about Isabella; I believe there's more to it, but I can't quite put my finger on it." He frowns, his brows furrowed as if deep in thought. Meanwhile, I tilt my head, perplexed, trying to understand the underlying meaning behind Harry's words.

"But what is it, Harry? Please tell me."

He takes a deep breath before responding, "It's not just about Isabella; there's more to it. You also want revenge. You've been carrying the burden of what he did to you since childhood, and now you want to make him pay. Perhaps all of this is your way of getting back at him." His words hit me hard, leaving a heavy feeling in my chest.

"I'm sorry, but it's only for Isabella," I say firmly. While y/n can protect her from home, I must defend her outside by putting an end to the man who is trying to ruin her life, just as he did mine

I won't have another Lupin's life ruined because of that man
