After months of searching, I finally found Greyback today.
As the sun rose, the Hogwarts castle was buzzing with activity. The air was filled with anticipation as everyone prepared for the final battle against the death eaters. Sirius shared the plan with me beforehand, and I knew I had to face Greyback, knowing Voldemort would summon him.
As I arrived at the scene, the chaos of the battle was already in full swing. The sound of spells and curses being hurled echoed through the air as I made my way around the fighting. My heart raced as I searched for Greyback, my eyes darting around to catch a glimpse of him. Finally, I spotted him and prepared myself for the fight of my life.
"GREYBACK!" I yell, and he turns confused, then smirks as he realizes it's me
"Found me finally, have you? How's your wife and daughter? Oh, right, you left them alone for me to kill." He says, and no, he's lying. They're alive they have to be.
"You're a liar," I say, and he laughs maniacally.
"Oh, it was easy; your wife was asleep with your daughter in her arms. I killed them both in one swift movement." He says, smirking, and I start to shake in anger. He has to die; he has to die! If he doesn't that would become my reality and I won't let it
I throw spells at him angrily. Hurling them towards him but he had a defence ready for each spell
"How about I reunite you with your wife and daughter?" He says, giving me a toothy grin, blood dripping down his mouth from some student he got
"I am going to destroy you." I say and just as I start to say the death curse someone grabbed my hand
"Remus!" Sirius says as he slaps me as tonks had her wand up to Greyback and before he could react she cast a sleeping spell over him, making him fall to the ground asleep
"He has to die it's the only way to protect my family!" I say and Sirius slaps me again
"Arresting him is better you know, then you won't have his murder on your hands, just let Tonks take him away." Sirius says and I try and get out of Sirius' hold on me but I couldn't
"Isabella wont be safe as long as this monster is alive!" I say and Sirius just slaps me again
"No she wont be safe when her father isn't there to protect her and love her, now let tonks take him, she knows Aurors who will deal with him properly, he will never leave Azkaban hey he may even get put to death, but let the law be the judge." Sirius says as tonks waited for what I was going to decide
If I got out of Sirius' hold I could easily kill him he's asleep he can't stop me
I just stare at myself from the broke glass on the ground
"This isn't the man y/n fell in love with Remus, so filled with revenge this isn't you." Sirius says and tears well up in my eyes as I fall to the ground
Sirius gives tonks a nod and tonks disappeared with him
'Sirius is right, this isn't me I wasn't me at all, and I probably broke y/ns heart, I need to go home.'
