*Kanzie's Point Of View*
While walking to the harbor I was going on and on about how beautiful this place is but Mark wasn't listening even though he was looking right at me. I was curious how he had a house and found this place so of course I had to ask, it broke my heart that he had to go through the loss of both parents at the same time. You can tell he loved his mother a lot because his eyes light up when he spoke about her, his father sounded like an amazing man as well and he did a good job to raise a fine young man.
I was impressed that Mark used his two million to buy a house instead of just spending it on clubbing or hookers, Mark is easy on the eyes you wouldn't know he inherited such an amount. When we arrived at the harbor a cheerful man, in his mid 50s, with silver hair, brown hazel nut eyes and tanned skin, come to receive us. You can tell he adored Mark and seems like they where close because Fernando was the one who helped Mark purchase his house.
Height of my day so far was swimming in the ocean, before we had one heck of a fishing spree. I kept reeling in fish until I got exhausted and Mark decided to jump into the ocean. I was hesitant because the water depth was 100,000km greater than the area we left behind, and deep waters are perfect for sharks. Luckily for us no sharks in sight, we didn't spend too much time in the water though.

"Wine?" Mark asked as we hot on deck.
"Definitely and you can wheel us in, I need to take in the view and relax."
"By the way what's your father like?" He asked and my heart dropped because that's the one thing I hoped to avoid.
"His an army man and a good man." I say keeping it short and simple.
"Sometimes running away isn't the answer and sometimes we need to be ready to understand why things happen. One thing I wish I had told my dad was that, 'I loved him and I was grateful for everything he did and that he was my inspiration and mirror image of what a good man looked like..."
"Your point is?" I interrupt him trying to avoid the forming tears.
"My point is don't let one little hiccup blind sight all the other good things." In that moment I wish he knew just how big of a hiccup this was.
"It's not that simple..." I say sipping on my wine, "It's easier to walk away."
"I can tell you love your dad and I know he loves you more than you know. Please princess talk to him." I wish he knew just how hard that was.

I loved being out on the sea, it was my favorite thing to do with my dad in Florida. I miss him, no matter how much it hurts to know he has to leave I still miss him, now more than ever. I keep trying to avoid the thought of how he might be heartbroken I'm gone and he doesn't know where I am and if I'm safe. I can't turn back now I have to keep going, I just wished Mark was right, that this was a small hiccup but deep down, it feels bigger and I'm not ready to talk to him.
When we got back to the harbor we shared some of our fish, no, most of our fish with Fernando and his crew. I'm happy we got to share what we caught, you know what they say sharing is caring. We walked home slowly taking me the view hands intertwined, this moment right here is going to be one of the memories I'll cherish. Each kiss he placed on my lips made my insides flip, each touch sets me on fire and every time he looks me right in the eyes my heart skips a beat. I'm still not sure what I feel for him, I mean I like him but there's this unfamiliar feeling as well.

*Mark's Point Of View*
"Home sweet home princess." I said leading us through the doors.
"How about we have some of the fish for dinner?" She said putting the used wine glasses in the sink and rinsing them.
"Sounds good I will fillet them and you can take a soak you stink." I say exaggeratedly by holding my nose.
"Do I?" She says coming closer and wrapping her arms around me, "I'll share it with you then."
"Princess I'm warning you to let go in three seconds before I use one of those groupers to wipe your face."
"I surrender!" She immediately let's go and makes her way to the bedroom. I start filleting the fish and after I'm done I need a hot shower.

*Kanzie's Point Of View*
I figured it would be nice to have some the fish for dinner, we could roast it on the grill. I'm glad Mark offered to fillet the fish, if there's one thing I hate about fishing is the part where you have to fillet it. As a lady I'll take my precious time in the jacuzzi to pass time because it's only 5pm and we can start dinner at 6pm and be done by 7pm.
~One Hour Later~
After my soak I decided to wear my blue high waisted shorts and a white tank top and one of Mark's beach shirts. When I got to the kitchen Mark was already washed and cleanand wearing one of his beach shirts and khaki shorts, you can tell he just got out of the shower because his hair looked wet, he was preparing to roast the fish. In the process of making myself useful I pop some potatoes in the oven, I make a traditional chili that would definitely go well with the fish and it's spicy.
After an hour we were done preparing and platting the food, that's when I realized I was hungry, very hungry.

"Where are you taking our plates Mark?!" I yell while following him.
"Balcony." He says making a turn on to the balcony's entrance.
"But there's no..." I'm cut off by the sight of how beautiful it looks, "You did this?" I ask still amazed
"Yes I had some time to kill after the shower." He says setting our plates down.

It still amazed how he managed to make the balcony like this in such limited time. The bars and edges where decorated with white fairy light and there was a table for two  covered in white silk with all cutlery set like a fine dinning restaurant. His phone was connected to the speaker as he pressed play thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran played.

"You may take your seat madam monsieur." He says holding out the chair for me.
"Merci Beaucoup messieur." I say walking over to the chair and taking my seat. He walks over and takes his seat.
"Bon appétit." With that he starts slicing his fish.
"This looks beautiful Mark, I love it." I say taking a bite.
"I was hoping you would."
"Thank you very much for doing this."
"Don't mention it princess."

The rest of dinner was filled with laughter here and there and after we cleaned up and went back out to enjoy the night sky and some wine. Mark went inside a minute ago he said he would be back.

"Soo I've been thinking!" He says standing in front of me.
"Thinking about?"
"How we haven't made it official yet."
"Made what official?" I ask a little confused
"Well Kanzie, I might not be your first choice I don't even know if I am one, but I love you more than anything and I really want to be with you for as long as I can. I don't want to say forever because it puts pressure on situations where we don't agree but I know no matter how hard it gets I'll try my best to make you happy that's if you'd let me." He says walking behind my chair and placing the necklace that I admiring at the market place.
"Wow when did you get this?" I ask getting a little emotional.
"After I disappeared during karaoke at the restaurant." he says lifting me from my chair and into his arms as  I wrap my arms around his neck.
"I love it. Thank you" I say giving him a soft kiss.
"Soo will you go out with me?" he asks looking me in the eyes.
"Let me think about it." I say teasingly holding my chin.
"Wow what a way to play with a man's hurt princess."
I laugh at his sentiment and say, "Of course Mark I'll go out with you." with that he kisses me and things start to get heated between us. He wraps my legs around his waist and guides through the doors to the bedroom without breaking contact between our lips.
"I want you." I say in between breaths.
"That's all I need to hear."
