The air on Yashiori Island carried a distinctive blend of ocean mist and the subtle tang of electric energy, a far cry from the crisp clarity of Narukami Island. Despite the air was still lacking unlike Narukami, it was a refuge compared to the oppressive atmosphere of your grandfather's estate. Two years of banishment hadn't been easy, but with your father by your side, you found solace in the island's dangerous yet familiar terrain.

Your life took a dramatic turn when the Kamisato Clan decided to pay a visit.

While you and your father entertained the Kamisato Clan with warm hospitality, laughter echoed through the room, creating a jovial atmosphere. The aroma of the carefully prepared meal wafted in the air, a testament to the island's unique ingredients.

Several times, your eyes unintentionally locked with the firstborn of the Kamisato Clan. Each accidental meeting was accompanied by a subtle smile from him. The guests from Narukami, who made the arduous journey to Yashiori, were none other than the current head of the Kamisato Clan and his son. Perhaps, as you reflected on the situation, it dawned on you that the perilous nature of Yashiori might indeed be too dangerous for the delicate sensibilities of the Kamisato girls.

Amidst the shared jokes and camaraderie, the mood shifted abruptly as an unexpected storm materialized out of thin air. The tempest unleashed its fury, assaulting Yashiori Island with torrential rain and gusty winds. The once lively scene plunged into chaos as the tranquility of the moment shattered.

The storm, seemingly summoned by unseen forces, intensified swiftly. Lightning crackled in the ominous clouds, casting eerie shadows as the winds howled with a haunting melody. In the blink of an eye, the serene setting transformed into a chaotic battleground of nature's wrath.

Suddenly, a deafening roar drowned out the laughter, and the once inviting house became a prey to the inferno. Flames flickered and danced with malevolent glee, devouring the wooden structure with relentless hunger. The situation escalated at an alarming pace, leaving you and the Kamisato Clan scrambling for safety amidst the chaotic symphony of wind and fire.

Amidst the chaos, you and Ayato found yourselves separated from your father.

The crackling of flames echoed in the air as Ayato desperately tried to use his hydro vision to quell the fire. "We need to find a way out," he shouted over the roar of the flames.

You could see that some paths were trappen by fallen debris. "My father, Ayato! He went to save others. We have to find him!"

Ayato's expression darkened, realizing the dire situation. "We'll find him. Stay close." With determination, he led the way through the engulfed structure.

The two of you ventured deeper into the fiery maze, you heard distant cries for help. Panic welled up inside you. "Ayato, we need to hurry! My father might be—" Your words were cut short by a sudden collapse of burning beams, separating you from Ayato.

"Stay there! I'll find another way around," Ayato called out, urgency in his voice.

Trapped and fearing the worst, you witnessed a heart-wrenching scene. Ayato, wielding his hydro vision, struggled to lift a heavy beam that pinned your father. "Hold on, we'll get you out," Ayato assured, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

Your father, despite the pain, managed a weak smile. "Ayato, save my child. That's all I ask."

"But I can't just leave you!" Ayato protested.

"You can, and you must. I've lived a good life," your father whispered. "Save my child, Ayato, please."

"No, Dad! Please, I-I can't! Not without you, please. I don't want to live anymore if you're not by my side." You desperately shouted.

With heavy heart, Ayato rushed to your side once he found a path to save you. Grabbing your hand and ran outside. Whilst Ayato carrying the weight of the burdened words, the house trembled. The ceiling collapsed, sealing your father's fate. Ayato emerged, anguish etched on his face. "I'm sorry. We're too late."

And I'm still too weak.

After the whole situation subsided, you clung to Ayato, tears mixing with the rain as the storm subsided. The Kamisato Clan's response added insult to injury. Their speech in front of the media devoid of gratitude for your father's sacrifice, left a bitter taste.

"Why won't they acknowledge what he did? He saved them!" you exclaimed, anger and grief intertwining.

Ayato, his expression solemn, could only offer a comforting embrace. "Sometimes, the greatest deeds go unseen. We'll remember him, even if they won't."

"You should've saved my father. Why would you...!" You lashed out, the pain and anger in your voice aimed squarely at Ayato. "And that was your family who didn't recognize my father's sacrifice! All of you only wanted the fame and sympathy for your own, right?!"

"Y/N, it's not like I have the power to control their speech," Ayato replied, a mixture of guilt and helplessness in his eyes.

"But you have! You're the Kamisato Clan's heir, their firstborn! So why are you doing nothing?!" Your accusatory tone hung heavy in the air.

"My father and I extended warm hospitality to all of you. But is this how the Kamisato clan repay the gratitude?" you whispered, a sense of betrayal etched on your face.

"Y/N, I'm sorry. I'm still too we—"

"I don't give a damn about your excuses. Sure, you saved my life, but I won't stand for all of this," you declared, your eyes reflecting a determination fueled by a growing desire for revenge.

From that moment, a disdain blossomed within you toward Ayato, despite his efforts to save both you and your father. The painful truth clashed with your emotions, creating a chasm that seemed insurmountable.
