Spanish or Vanish- Duolingo pt2

They scream, shout, yell, shriek, screech, pterodactyl screech and other synonyms for it. A lot.

The 8 first survivors from the first chapter got teleported to Duolingo land. It's scary. It's a whole realm of floating phases in different languages around. The grass are made of the green bird. There was statues of Duolingo characters, they had been petrified because they didn't do their daily lessons.

"Where are we?" Arlo asked, "what happened?"

Adriana sighed sheepishly, "I failed my Duolingo Japanese test."

"I can talk so we're probably not anywhere connected to the mist," Gabrielle said, "and did you say you failed a Duolingo test? How? Did you like not pay attention to any of the lessons?"

"I didn't take any Duolingo lesson on that language cause I was lazy."

"The killer ..... It's the Duolingo brid isn't it?" Yara took a wild guess. Then they heard the fee fi fo fum of a huge round owl.

It was Duolingo the Language Bird.

The survivors saw this terrifying sight and all scream, jumping away in fear.

"Say sorry in Japanese or you'll lose your knees," he said in a squeaky child friendly voice.

"Great rhymes dude," Riley told him. The other 7 survivors watched as Duolingo used his wing to slap the life out of Riley, he's downed instantly. Everyone screech.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

"WAIT MY CHEAP THRILLS!"

"You're perks are useless in Duolingo Land," Duolingo chuckled and turned to the rest of the survivors.

Iris pulled out her pot from her pocket and it wasn't glowing with life. Eiji tried his camera but the flashes are dead. Gabrielle shook her phone and it shatter to pieces just by being in the presence of Duolingo.

Jun decided to rescue them and spoke some words that sound like it's straight out of an anime.

Duolingo accepted it and his eyes started to glow red.

"You have 30 seconds before the next one, hints, it's French!" He sat down and just stared at them.

The survivors helped Riley up and they all ran away as far as possible.

"GUYS WHO SPEAK FRENCH?" Gabrielle said.

"oooh oooh I know some!" Riley volunteered himself excitedly.

They turned back and the bird was coming at them.

"GOOD GO STALL. BE CAREFUL TOO YOU LOST A LIFE ALREADY AND YOU GOT NO CHEAP THRILL!" Adriana screamed and the rest of them sprinted away as Riley slowed down and turned to Duolingo.

The green bird looked down at Riley. "Say sorry in French now."

The first french thing that came to his mind was, "OUI OUI, MON AMI, J'APPELLE LAFAYETTE" and that's exactly what he said/rap.

Everyone running stopped their track in disbelief. Did Riley actually learned french? Of course they all have brains not big enough to know that what he just say was the furthest thing away from sorry. Except for Gabrielle, the person with more brain there.

"Guys run!" She yelped for them to run.

Adriana rolled her eyes, "Gabri, what he just said sound like the second sexiest language someone can speak french (first is money obviously). Of course he's right, it sound correct." She proceeded to push Gabrielle away. (Yara who speak neither:)

"The- OH MERDE! The next line is in anglais... BONSOIR.... C'EST MOI... PUTAINE" Riley kept going.

"GUYS HE LITERALLY JUST RAPPED SOMETHING FROM SCAMILTON OR SOMETHING RUN!" Gabri was trying to push the group away but she can't.

Duolingo was about to laser Riley but he reconsidered. The bird tears up. "Merde....Putaine.... you learned the word shit and fuck in french. I am so proud of you."

Then immediately, his eyes turned red like really scary. You can see his past victims pleading for mercy in it. Everyone did a high pitch screech that broke some glasses.

"No hints next time..."

The survivors found a generator lying in the middle of Duolingo Land. That's when it clicked that they were suppose to get through this game like a normal game, with generators.

"Gabrielle, Adriana, you're the genrushers, do it," Riley told them.

"Oh but I'm the only brain cells you guys got," Gabrielle argued, "You do it. Loopers should go distract them."

"He probably shoot laser out of his eyes, looping or not, we're doomed," Yara argued, "There is no way I'm distracting that thing." Eiji and Jun nodded in agreement.

While people argue, Iris settled down to fix the gen. But then out of nowhere, a hugeass laser saw right through it, they can see the melted parts inside.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH" Everyone yelped loudly and highpitchly, stopped arguing. You just can't get used to killers with laser eyes.

"Beg for your life in Spanish," Duolingo's child friendly voice was right behind them. Everyone slowly turned back.

"GUYS MY FINGERS!" Iris yelled, holding up her fingerless hands.

"WE DON'T NEED TO SEE THAT!" Eiji screamed back.

"Tick tock Duo is waiting!"

They decided to push Gabrielle in front since she was 'so smart'.

"Umm...No habla español..." Gabrielle spoked the only Spanish sentence she knows, it's for if anyone say something in Spanish to her.

Duolingo was mad that she said words in Spanish that literally mean she doesn't understand Spanish. His eyes heated up and lasered right through her. So much for 2 lives, Gabrielle is a pile of ash now.

Back in the Lobby, you can hear terrified pterodactyl screeches all the way from Duolingo Land.

Iris and Arlo being a tad bit smarter had went to find other generators, sneaking away. They completed one while Gabrielle get laser.

Duolingo walked away to give them time for the next 'lesson'.

"Okay so we know his active is um... every few minutes he goes and give us lesson, his passive is...am gonna say lasers and abusive attacks," Yara analyze. That's real helpful, if only giant green owls work like that.

"Oh look someone completed a generator we need to do 7 more," Eiji said as he checked his radio thingy.

Everyone did a dumb and split up to find generators. Duolingo is still free and roaming around, probably trying to find Lily to help.

However will they survive without previous Duolingo lessons?

oh no, if only im a normal person who could get to the point. no i must make it long and twisty. pt3 coming up because i need to keep each chapter about 1000 words only (more or less)
