- Jungkook's pov -

"I can't" She groans, her beautiful head falling into the pillows in front of her. Her phone falling pointing her camera up so that I'm just watching the ceiling now.

"Yes you can!" I say through a smile, almost wanting to coo at her antics. God, I miss her so much.

"I literally can't, I'm gonna quit. That final seriously kicked my ass." She says muffled, the camera still facing up.

"But it's worth it, right?"

"I guess!" She groans again. "Just let me be a bum please" Taylor finally comes back into view and I can't help the smile that makes it's way onto my face when her hair falls over her face and she puffs out air to try and blow it away.

"You couldn't even if you tried, beautiful!" And I knew my choice of pet name was the right way to go, because the sight of her flushed cheeks makes me want to call her beautiful every second of every single day for the rest of my life.

"You obviously haven't seen her drunk." Malia chimes in, and just like I expected a pillow goes flying from Taylor's hand and a thud sounds right after. A loud huff from Malia has me laughing lightly at the best friends.

"Aren't you going on winter break soon?" I ask, already itching to ask her if she wants to come to Korea for Christmas. But I hold it in, because we still haven't fully talked about how fast we wanna take our relationship. The last thing I wanna do is scare her away or make her put up any more walls. Which I've learned during my week's stay that she has many. I don't know why, I don't want to push her to tell me. But I know that I'd do whatever it takes to keep her safe. To keep whatever or whoever made her put up those walls far far away from her.

"Yeah, this morning was the last of my exams and then we go on break." Her eyes finally settle on her phone and my breath almost gets knocked out of me. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing her face. I have never met someone that just feels this right. That makes me feel like I must've saved a village in my past life to have someone like her be my soulmate.

"Anyway, how was your day?" She says after a beat of silence that has be shaking my head a little to clear my thoughts. Not even realizing I had gone off and stared at her for a good 20 seconds.

"Good! Just did a lot of filming. We're actually going out tonight, Joon wanted to —" The door swings open behind me and I look over my shoulder to see Tae and Jimin seemingly in a very deep conversation.

"Yeah but when you put it in ice it's a completely different thing." Tae rambles out, Jimin trailing behind him.

"You don't put anything in ice, you put ice in things." Jimin makes a face at Tae.

"What?" Tae shakes his head at Jimin, then turns to me. "Kook, you ready to go?"

"Taylor! Hi!" Jimin beams when he nears my desk and sees my phone propped up.

"Hey Jiminie, sorry I haven't texted back. I had this ugly final that literally lasted forever and then had an appointment right after." My beautiful soulmate begins to explain.

"I figured, call when I get home?" He asks, leaning over my shoulder.

"If you're not drunk, sure." She nods once.

"No promises." He winked into the camera, making Taylor laugh loudly. A tinge of jealousy running through my body naturally, because I wanna be the only one to elicit such a beautiful laugh from her. But the adoration for this girl takes over tenfold because of how easily she became one of us. How easily she fit in with my group of brothers. Well ... almost everyone.
