Quietly, I made my way outside with Ace, thoughts swirling in my mind. Meanwhile, Allmer emerged with a large bag, presumably carrying his belongings. In his half-beast form, I focused on his face, ignoring the presence of his intimidating white tail. Every step was a painful reminder of the fall, and I yearned to return to the city, clean my wounds, and wash my blood-stained, torn clothes. The headache began to intensify.

Ace transformed into his wolf form, and I cautiously approached him, intending to sit on his back once more. Just as I was about to mount him, a firm tail coiled around my waist, pulling me back. "I know I don't certainly look like it, but I am the jealous type. Don't expect me to just sit around while my female goes and sits on some random pup," Allmer calmly declared. Ace growled, clearly expressing his dislike for Allmer's presence. I raised an eyebrow, questioning, "What, do you expect me to ride on you then?"

"In normal circumstances, yeah, but I know you are scared to even touch my tail," Allmer replied with a tsk, "so I'll just carry you." Though I didn't fancy the idea, I had little say in the matter. He effortlessly lifted me with his tail and settled me on his arm. It was an awkward situation, having never been this close to a man before, let alone sitting on a handsome snake's arm. Allmer began to move, Ace leading the way. Surprisingly, it was a comfortable ride – not too bumpy, and certainly less painful for my chest without a bra.

"I'm not exactly on the slimmer side. Doesn't your arm get tired?" I inquired, considering the weight he was carrying. Allmer responded with a bored look, "You certainly do underestimate beastmen power, dear. Anyhow, how is it that you are so scared of my tail but not of that black cub?" he directed at Ace. I couldn't resist being honest, "His form is also terrifying, but he kinda looks like a big dog from behind, so I tend to ignore it." Ace stopped, growling at my candid admission. Allmer chuckled loudly, "That's a good way of thinking." Ace growled again, clearly displeased. Our journey continued, and I had to put my hands on Allmer's shoulder to maintain my balance. I couldn't help but notice his bare shoulders and well-defined muscles. My eyes wandered involuntarily, but I scolded myself to focus. As my hands rested on his shoulder, bare and solid, I couldn't help but be aware of the intimacy of the situation. I tore my eyes away from his handsome chest and looked straight ahead.

"Here, eat this," Allmer offered an emerald, pressing it against my lips. When opened my mouth to eat it, Allmer's slim fingers lingered for fraction of a second on my lips. Just like the previous one, the emerald melted in my mouth, bringing immense relief. All my wounds had ceased bleeding and were now fully healed. "Thanks," I expressed my gratitude.

Ace observed us from the front, and soon enough, we arrived at the gates of the city of beasts.
