Peace
I always thought I had felt true peace,
True serenity.
I always thought I was happy,
Truely happy.
I always thought that my laughter was real.
Or that my smile was genuine.
It wasnt until I met you that I had realized I have been putting on a show,
A show for all to see including myself.
It wasnt until I met you,
That I had realized,
I have been living my life as if I was in a circus.
When I met you,
I felt true happiness.
The first time we hung out,
Was the day I felt really genuinely happy.
I was confused,
Not knowing what this new feeling was,
This new emotion,
Sensation.
My stomach felt funny.
I smiled until it hurt,
And laughed until I couldnt breath.
The day I met you,
Was the day my life changed.
I realized that this "happiness" I thought I felt,
Was nothing less than a lie, to myself, my family, and all those around me.
I thought my life was good,
But I realize now,
Your the peice to my puzzle that had been missing.
You are the other peice of ME that I had been missing.
When you talked to me the first time,
Your voice silenced the ones in my head,
As if they where listening to you too.
As if your voice was more important.
My brain was silent,
Listening and intruiged.
My eyes where steady and focused,
I studied your lips as you spoke,
Spoke ever so softly,
So kindly,
So comfortingly.
I loved watching the way your lips curled to a smile as you spoke of certain topics you liked.
Everything was quiet,
The world had stopped.
For the first time,
I felt at peace,
Listening to your voice,
Hearing the water going by us as you spoke,
Gazing into your eyes.
Thats when I had realized I really felt at peace.
I realized not all things in the world have to be bad, or gloomy.
I realized that some things in life are magical.
And you were one of them.
When I had happiness around you for the first time,
It multiplied the next time we hung out,
And the next time.
Still today,
A long time later,
You still multpily my happiness everyday we hang out,
Get together,
Or just exist around each other.
When I felt peace around you,
It wasnt hesitant to do the same as happiness.
Each time we hung out after the first,
It got more and more intense.
Now when I see you,
My body is just overflown with relaxation,
Peace,
And overall positivity.
You are an ethereal being my love,
Dont cease to remember it.
You are magical.
Your love is the purest of all forms I have recieved.
You are the most alluring person on this Earth.
Never believe you are dull,
Or non-colorful-
Because my love,
Your iridescent colors shine.
You are an extremely delicate rose,
Too delicate and precious for this Earth.
