to make you feel better
on February 14th
wonder what i should tell her
want to hug you in time
but nowadays i don't have time
head held high, i tried my best
i hope you were impressed
to melancholy and dismay
she goes, and as she does
she'd say
happy Valentine's day
with a forgettable smile
that's the last time ill see her
for a very long while
wanna sit there and stare
into your hazel eyes
on February 14th
quietly basking
joining our lips
contracting eachothers sweet desire
speaking so grandly of times to come
and fondly of days passed
my knuckles bruised as a plum
same time, same place
beating my fists like a drum
crossing wishes with confidence
struck with inconvenience
let dog days begin again
and let the draining commence
