i mean the real one, not a halfhearted impression
you put on around everyone you know
i noticed you looked down
i hope you're okay
i hope ill see you around
im looking forward to the day
i can see your pretty face
and not wonder what it was i did
to make you run away
to the day
we can be in the same place
and my heart won't beat fast"
some days i wonder how much i truly mean
when i remember how much
you've meant to me, while being dirt to others
and once i grasp the idea of desire
cutting me thin as a wire
my heart calls me a liar
standing on the line
