Friends but not friends

Chapter 17

It was three weeks past the incident. Everything was falling at place. Chetnaya has managed to convince Mitali. Arnav was happy after reconciling with Chetnaya. He decided to meet Devansh and Mohit as soon as possible. After the act of Chetnaya he was sure that they themselves would not turn up to meet him. He had realized that they all wanted to live together like they used to be in past but their own fears were holding them. It's time to move on.

Two days before Chetnaya had returned from his international trip with Nidhi. It was decided that on weekend Chetnaya will throw a party for celebrating the success of Nidhi's show where he would invite all his friends. It was easy for Arnav to meet them there. Arnav himself was involved in whole planning. He was going to book venue and catering services today with Chetnaya. It was decided that they will go in noon time but Chetnaya asked to postpone it to evening. Chetnaya failed to understand that why Neeraj asked to meet him suddenly. He completely forgot about the misinformation which Abhimanyu and Ravish gave Neeraj on that day.

Yashwardhan barged in a house and shouted, "koi mujhe baar baar late na hone ko bol raha tha aur khud hi late ho gaya." Hridyansh who was waiting for Neeraj asked if he is too accompanying them.

Yashwardhan – "Na baba na. Unke sath lady don bhi hui to mein kya karunga."

Hridyansh – "Vo unki patni hai to hume unko bhabhi bolna chahiye na."

Yashwardhan – "Hridyansh ji, Mein sirf majak kar raha tha".

Neeraj- "tu bhi chal na. Aate time sab sath mein hi Arnav bhaiya ke ghar hote hue aayenge phle ki tarah."

Yashwardhan – "Nahi, Mein arnav bhaiya ke ghar hi theek hu. Tum dono ka wahi wait karunga. Phir vaha se sath aa jayenge."

Hridyansh –"Tu unse kyu milna nahi chahta?"

Yashwardhan –"I feel that something is related to that day. Mein abhi bhi unke sath is baarein mein baat karne mein comfortable nahi hu. Vo mere ideal hai, mein nahi chahta ki mein emotions mein aakar unhe kuch ulta seedha bol du."

Neeraj- "I thought tune vo position kisi aur ko de di hai."

Yashwardhan with smile replied, "Nahi, Arnav bhaiya mere liye bade bhai hai, family hai par inspiration nahi. Jab se cricket khelna shuru kiya hai, tabse inspiration and ideal to ek hi hai. Isliye mein unke bharosa na karne se hurt hua tha. My inspiration caused hurt to my family."

Hridyansh – "I wish ki us din se related kuch na ho."

Neeraj –"Matlab? Kuch aisa hai kya jo hume pata hona chahiye par pata nahi hai?"

Hridyansh – "Pata nahi kyu, par mujhe lag raha ki hum kuch to miss kar rahe hai."

Yashwardhan – "Tera vehem bhi to ho sakta hai."

Hridyansh – "May be par jab bhi us din ki baat hoti hai vo kuch alag hi react karte hai."

Neeraj –"Karan tujhe bhi pata hai."

Hridyansh – "lekin unke reactions sabse alag hote hai."

Yashwardhan – "Vo bas unke close the isliye. Ab chal varna late ho jayenge."

As it was decided before, Yashwardhan talked to Arnav who ensured him that everything is alright between them. He also disclosed the planning of Ravish and Abhimanyu to prank them.

Arnav – "Tum teeno ko ek baar bhi nahi laga ki ye prank ho sakta hai. You literally thought ki hum dono ki ladai ho gayi hai aur vo dono normally react karenge."

Yashwardhan –"Abhimanyu bhai ne bola tha to yakeen kyu nahi karte. Vo hi to Chetnaya bhaiya ko sabse ache se jante hai."

Arnav – "Sbse acha? Ye dono itna close hai?"
