Denki wasn't having any of Serena's nonsense, he didn't want her to end up starving herself. So he grabbed her by her left hand and took her into the kitchen where he gave her what was left of the breakfast he had with his sister and mother. Serena felt a bit flustered that he would do something like that-but thanked him anyways. He sat with her at the small table as he leaned against the table.

"Tell me, where you really going to get something to eat at the food court Serena?"

Serena hung her head and shook her head as she had her mouth full of food, he let out a small sigh as he shook his head. "I thought so, you don't need to starve yourself. Just because your siblings are being rude to you doesn't mean that you need to make yourself suffer like that."

"I know...but its how I cope with it all." She said sadly

"Tell me when you were younger did you do that too?"

She nodded her head as she frowned, "They would never do anything about it either, they'd let me starve. The only one that would care enough about me to get me to eat is the one person that's dead."

"It is rather confusing that your father would hire people that are villains to kill your mother. He married your mother, shouldn't he have protected and cared for her instead of going out of his way to get people to kill her?" Denki asked confused

"Well...My mother is originally from here. I don't know what prefecture but she would always make sure that all of us kids knew about our Japanese roots and about the family we have here. My surname...it isn't my fathers it's my mothers. I'm the only one that has our mothers surname for some odd reason. But my father...My father hated that she did that. So for years they fought and up till now I don't know why. Apparently my mother did leave a will, but my siblings having been holding onto it for some reason instead of telling me what is on it."

Denki waited until she was done eating before he pulled her up with him. "Before we leave out, let's talk with your elder siblings. They have to know what was in your mothers will. If something was left to you, you have the right to know about it."

Serena whined out. "I don't want to talk to my siblings right now Denki. They will demand that I 'apologize' to them before they tell me anything. And I don't want to deal with that bull crap right now."

"At some point you're going to need to talk with them. They're your siblings Serena."

"Yeah I know." Serena whined out "but now...now's not the time for that to happen."

When the duo went to the mall together, Denki messaged Mina and the others to see where they were only to get from Sero that they were at the food court waiting for him and Serena. So the two of them walked to the food court only, Serena held onto Denki's arm tightly as she felt her anxiety going up. He looked at her concerned.

"Serena, Are you alright?"

Serena shook her head. "No...but I'll eventually be."

When they got to the small group, Mina gave them both a smoothie she had got for the both of them. Serena thanked Mina and sat down to drink her smoothie as she had both hands on the cup.

"So Serena, you need to spill your backstory before we go anywhere." Mina stated with a huff

"Okay, where did you want me to start?" Serena asked as she tilted her head to the side

"How about how you ended up here in Japan if you're from America?" Sero asked

"Sure thing, After my father hired people to kill my mother when I was eight years old, he disowned me and had thrown custody of me to Todoroki's father." Serena stated
