When she got out of the classroom, Shoto was waiting for her and he grabbed her hand pulling her to a vacant hall before he looked at her worried and concerned. "What happened to you this morning? You've never fainted like that before." He asked concerned

"Slade chased me seven blocks nonstop. My body isn't built to be able to run that much without stopping for a drink. It's why I collapsed. I apologize for worrying you Shoto. I never meant to do that." She said sadly

He pushed her up against the wall of the hall before he cupped the side of her face and kissed her passionately on the lips. Serena was rather shocked that he had done such a thing but kissed him back as she laced her hand with his. Once he pulled away from her he brushed his hand against the side of her face. "Please never ever do something so reckless ever again. I don't like being so concerned about you Serena."

"I apologize sweet heart, I don't mean to do that to you. I just don't want to talk to those people anymore...that's all."

"I know but there was a better way for you to do that sweet heart. Now lets get to lunch so you can get something to eat alright?"

She nodded her head and the two of them went to lunch together, while they were having lunch together Denki went up to them and sat across from Serena. "Hey Serena, are you alright?"

Serena nodded her head "Yeah I just had a bit of a bad run in with the people I once called family."

Denki raised an eyebrow at her. "What do you mean by that?"

"Last night I had grabbed my things that I really wanted from the place those idiots are in and I left them a letter basically stating that they are no longer my siblings and if they were to ever try to get my attention that I will make damn sure that I don't remember who they are. Slade thought that it was a joke and chased me down seven damn blocks after I had already finished jogging two and half miles. I was going to take a break but because he chose to chase me I didn't get to. So I ended up over doing it which sent me to the hospital this morning and why I was late to school today." Serena said with a sigh

Denki looked at her concerned "Oh damn, sorry to hear that. So you're officially no longer calling Slade your brother?"

She shook her head no. "He and the others treat me like I'm nothing to them when everything that mother ever left behind is in my name not theirs. And I am the only one with my mothers family name so it was for a reason. Now I understand why she did so. I want nothing more than to have those three go back to the states and live out their crappy lives where they were before they bothered me."

"Yeah, guess you got a point there. So where are you staying now?" Denki asked

"I'm back at the Todoroki household. I get treated better there than I do around those who were supposed to be family to me." She stated as she gave Shoto a small smile

He returned it slightly before he went back to eating his soba noodles. Denki raised an eyebrow at her "I see, you aren't going back to the way you were...are you?"

"Dunno, depends on how people treat me now." She said with a shrug

"Gotcha, do you at least mind if I tell people what happened with you?"

"As long as you don't spin a tail out of it I don't care."

"I won't I promise." He said with his hands up before he left and went to talk with some of the others from A class

Once the two were alone Shoto looked at her as he placed a hand on her lap. "Eat your lunch please, you haven't eaten all day."

She nodded her head and ate her lunch quickly which surprised her with how quick she had manage to eat her lunch. She knew then she'd probably end up eating more of dinner that night than she usually would because of what happened to her earlier that morning.
