After school, Serena went to the Todoroki household with Shoto and felt a bit of familiarity doing so as she walked beside the duo haired male. While they walked back to the house Shoto looked to her. "I let my father know about you coming over and why. He told me that he was going to tell us both everything tonight, so brace yourself."

Serena nodded her head she looked up at him. "Okay...Do you mind if we do our home work together?"

He shook his head. "No, not at all Serena. Honestly I would have thought you'd want to go back to the one room you'd stay in just to do your homework away from me."

"Honestly I was thinking about it, but I don't want to be too rude to you right now if we end up having to get used to one another Shoto."

"I see, So that's where your head is right now. That will has seriously gone to your head hasn't it?"

"In the sense of what will happen to us? Of course it's gone to my head. We've lived together for so long, we've seen the good, the bad and the ugly of one another growing up. Your father has used both of us too damn long and I fear that what we're about to get ourselves into has to do with our quirks and getting 'stronger', which if that's the case I will ask for it to be dropped. I don't want to be used as a pond anymore than I already have been."

When they got to a red light he laced his hand with hers which shocked her as she stiffened up looking at him. "Serena, you won't have to deal with this alone. I'll have your back I promise. It wasn't right for our parents to do this behind our backs. Neither one of us consented to this and they need to be aware of how we feel about this."

"And how do you feel about all that's going on between us right now Shoto?"

"Right now? I'm concerned and somewhat confused. Before your siblings came here I was talked to alone about the fact that you'd be living with your siblings once they came here so I wouldn't see you anymore. But that I had the right to know that your father and mine had made an arrangement between the two of us once we were of age to marry to be together. Which was why we always went to the same school and why we were worked to the bone as we were. It was to keep the two of us together."

"O-Oh...I wonder if he'll say that nonsense to me at dinner tonight."

"I hope not, we both know it's not completely true."

"Though it makes me question, all the times you told me to stay away from you during middle school...was it because you were starting to catch feelings for me?" She asked curiously

Shoto averted his eyes as he got slightly flustered "Y-Yes...I didn't know how you'd feel about me being that close to you so I chose to be cold towards you and hold my emotions in. I never meant for what I've done to make you feel like you shouldn't be yourself. I never wanted you to stop smiling or to stop being so cheerful. I adore your smile and seeing you so happy around me."

Serena walked in front of him and placed her hand on the left side of his face brushing her thumb against the burn mark upon his face. "I stopped smiling and being happy around you because back then I had started to like you. But you showing such a ice cold shoulder towards me made me feel like you didn't like me back, which is why I stopped. If you couldn't love me...t-then who could?"

Shoto looked at her sadly as he heard her speak before he let go of her hand and instead pulled her into him and kissed her on the lips. Serena was very stunned that he would kiss her out in public like he had, but it made her happy. That time she kissed him back as her hand went from the side of his face to around his neck. As he pulled away from her he pressed his forehead against hers. "I won't hide myself any longer I promise. I want to express to you just what you mean to me."
