Monster

What am I?
Am I human,
With morals,
Or a monster?
Is it a heart
That beats in my chest,
Or fists
Desperate to cause pain?
Do my eyes gleam
Filled with hope,
Or shoot malice
With a simple scowl?
I have been told
That I am caring.
That I am loving,
Nurturing.
You have not seen me.
I slip by
A facade of hope,
When all I really am
Is destruction.
I am a calamity
Waiting to destroy you.
I know what I do is wrong.
Against morality.
But then again,
Morality is for humans,
And I am nothing
But a monster.
