As a scientist I got to do my research with a lot of people. Some calm and collected, others timid and annoying, but I never thought I'd get to work with him. The man named Zandik.
Tall, handsome, intelligent, kind and really dedicated to his research, yet people tend to call him "the outcast". I don't get why anyone would think that. He might be quite weird, but definitely not an outcast.
He can't be that bad, right?

- Do you want to take a break? - He asked me.
After whole day of walking around Sumeru and noting things some rest is what I would sell my soul for.
I quickly nodded my head.
He sat on the grass. As I did the same I noticed him smile.
- Why are you staring at me... like that?
He smiled even wider.
He leaned to me and took something out of my hair.
A flower. A whole flower. It even had some roots left.
- I can't believe you didn't notice it untill now!
His words made me embarrassed.
When he noticed my blush he laughed just louder.
I had to clear my throat to say something.
- Never mind. Just give my water.
He handed me my bottle.
- Thanks - I said almost automatically before taking a sip out of the water.
- You're welcome.
A grin has crept onto his face.
- I've always wondered...
He waited for me to show a sign that I am listening to him.
As I looked at him he continued.
- ...why would a girl as pretty as you have the right to just roam around?
I was quite confused.
- What do you mean?
- Isn't it obvious? A girl like you should belong to someone.
- What... - Before I managed to finish that sentence I started feeling weak. - What is happening...?
Zandik smirked.
- I must have chosen some good drugs. They're working already.
- Drugs...?
I started feeling even worse. He slowly, but successfully putted my head on his lap as I was just about to black out.
- Good night, Sohreh.

When everything went black the last thing I heard was three words.
- My future wife...
