Chapter 6

Atsushi POV:
The sun shines bright through the window, hitting Atsushi in the face.
This wakes him up as he turns to face away from the window and cover himself with a blanket.
He groans and sits up, looking out the window.
He waits a few seconds before hopping out of bed and heading over to the bathroom.
He changes into his uniform(usual clothes) and then proceeds to bush his hair and teeth.
He finishes and starts at himself though the mirror
...how disgusting...
He stands up straight and walks out.
He approaches his kitchen and walks over to the cupboard.
He takes out a small cup and fills it up with water...just...plain water.
He takes a sip and leaves it on the table.
He takes his house keys and walks out.
Time skip
Atsushi reaches the ADA office and walks in.
He greets Kunikida with a small

Before walking over to his desk and sitting down.
He immediately gets tired and straightens up.
He opens a drawer full of cases he has to work on.
He takes out a pen and begins to work.

And work
And work
Until he finally finishes...only...half
He groans and lay back, tired
He looks over to the clock and reads
4:37
...I haven't even done anything...I'm so lazy...
He mumbles to himself as he sits up and continues to work.

After two-three hours later, he finally finishes ALL of his work.
He picks up the stack of papers and walks over to Kunikida and hands them to him.
...here you go, I finished all of my work...sorry for taking so long.
You know this is late by a few hours, right?

Atsushi walks away and goes over to Ranpo.

Atsushi smiles back weakly and walk over to his desk and sits down.
He lays his head on the desk and closes his eyes.
He sits up and then gets the urge...
He stands up and walks over to the bathroom.
He goes in a stall and locks the door.

He grabs his phone from his pocket and takes off the case.
He takes out his blade he hides it in and puts the case on before putting his phone back in his pocket.
He rolls up his sleeve.
He glides the blade across his left wrist and arm, not caring if it goes in deep.
He finishes and stares at the mess he did...it was...bloody...
He sighs in relief? Pain? No, no...not pain...not relief...
He had been doing this for as long as he could remember, but never knew why exactly.
He shakes his head slightly and carefully opened the door.

He washes his arm quickly and wraps it in bandages.
He walks out the bathroom feeling more calm and relaxed.
He goes over to his desk and sits down, now feeling accomplished and able to nap peacefully.
He lays his head down and closes his eyes.
Atsushi! Atsushi!
Atsushi opens his eyes and looks up at...
