Conor's baby [on hold]

chapter 6

Claire's POV

As I wake up i realize I'm back in the large bed. What is it lately with me and sleep! i have never needed this much and normally I could not sleep on the streets so I was fine with out it. Suddenly a deep voice breaks me out of thought.

"Im so glad you are up, we have to go to the store to get you more things" I honestly am very confused by this. I thought he was going to put me back on the streets. "why" is all i could ask him. He carefully lifts my small chin in his hands so our eyes lock. His answer was scary and comforting at the same time.

"baby I told you already, Im not going to abandon you, Im going to take care of you" I let out a little whimper. I really don't want to be hurt again. 

"Claire" he says in a commanding voice which makes me cower away from him. I feel his large hands around me as he rubs my back. "whats wrong baby"

"are you going to hurt me" I say in a quite whisper. He looks almost heart broken when I ask that and his answer gives me a small amount of hope.

"I am never going to hurt you"
