I look my brother in the eye. The words are in my head but not coming out.
I never thought I would have to do this. Now I know how others feel when they're coming out.
What happened today could have been worse and I need to tell someone incase something worse actually happens.
But If I explain what happened today, I'll have to tell them why and that means I'm gonna have to come out to them... but I don't really have a choice.
The only person I think might not get too mad would be Javi.
But wah if him nuh wah be mi bredda nuh more?
I open my mouth again to speak but I start stuttering.
"M-mi.. I .. Girls.. b-but.." I tried talking but it came out wrong.
Mi fraid...
It look like mi a irritate him...
"Veera tek a deep breath and then try again because me cya understand yuh." he tells me and i try to calm down.
Breathe...

I stare at him to get his reaction but he didn't seem disgusted.
To my surprise his expression didn't change... he seemed okay with it.
That wasn't so bad...
"Nothing nuh wrong if yuh wah love oman but wah dat affi do wid smady a touch yuh?" He asks while his eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.
Deep breath...
"A girl inna mi class found out about it and decide fi gang me up after school and since mi class deh a di back a di school nobody coulda hear me a scream while dem drag me back a wah old classroom and start call mi sadamite and two a the boy dem weh did come wid r start try fi feel me up suh mi kick one a dem and then him push me dong pan the ground and before they could do anything else a teacher come and them run pass her a laugh" I take in a deep breath after explaining some of it in one breath.
"..."
Tears began to spring to my eyes again.
Why him nah say nothing...
"Come here" he says pulling me into a hug.
My tears started to overflow as he hugged me.
I thought he would get grossed out because I like girls...
"Tomorrow wi deal wid dis" he rubs my back as I calm down.
I guess it was a good idea for me to tell him. He barely even reacted to it. I don't know about mommy or daddy though ... they will probably disown me...
