Tim looks over and sees lucy was in shock
"you are all dismissed everyone start on the case as soon as you can" - Grey
Tim walks up to Lucy but Smitty stop Tim to talk to him
"isn't Chen Lucys last name" - Smitty
"yes Smitty it is, Mr Chen is her father, now get to work on the case" - Tim
Tim looks back over and Lucy is no longer there.
Tim looks everywhere in the station for Lucy he then sees her car is missing from the car park
he calls over Angela they get in the shop and start looking for her
Tim tries calling Lucy but it keeps going to voicemail, Angela then tries to call Lucy as well but her calls go to voicemail as well.
they reach Lucys apartment and see that her car is parked out the front they go up and knock on the door but the door is left open
"LUCY...LUCY...LUCE" Tim yells while walking in
Angela check Tamara's room while Tim checks Lucy's
meanwhile lucy walks into her apartment and sees that Tim and Angela are in the apartment
"oh sorry i didn't realise you two were here do you want me to get you anything" - Lucy
"um....Luce im so sorry" - Tim
"what about" - Lucy
"about your dad being missing" - Angela
"eh who cares at this point..not me" - Lucy says while laughing
Tim and Angela look at each other confused
"lucy he's your dad.. your his daughter i think he would like if you looked for him" - tim
"No..i don't care what he wants or what he thinks" - lucy says in a stern tone
"LUCY"-tim says back in a stern voice
"drop it or get out" Lucy yells back at him
lucy walks into her room and slams the door
"Lu...." tim
"Tim just leave it" - Angela
tim puts his hand on the back of his neck looking down
"hey theres nothing you can do, its completely her choice we just gotta respect that" - Angela
"i know...but i just feel she is gotta regret her decision later" - Tim
"how about i go talk to her" - Angela
"yes please" - Tim
Angela knocks on Lucys door
"hey its just me open up" - Angela
"i don't want to talk please leave" - Lucy
"Lucy" - Angela before lucy interrupts
"i love you ang but i don't need this right now please leave" - lucy
angela respects lucys wishes and leaves
"tim i suggest you do the same" - Angela
"no if she dosent want to talk to me then ill just wait here for when she is ready to talk" - tim
"ok then bye" - angela
Tim sits on the sofa giving lucy time to cool off he then hear crying coming from the bedroom
tim walks in seeing lucy sitting against the wall with photo albums out photos of her and her parents, tim walks over and sits against the wall with lucy.
"sorry i thought you left" - lucy says between tears
tim changes the subject
"ha you were a cute baby" - tim
lucy rolls her eyes and looks over at tim
tim places his hand on lucys thigh
"tim do you think im a disappointment" lucy
"no of coarse not, you are one of the best officers and you are a even better UC and person" tim
Lucy leans her head on Tims shoulder he kisses the top of her head
"is that why you dont wanna looks for your dad because..." tim
"they hate me ever since i became a cop, they never approved of it they think I'm a disappointment, my mum made it pretty clear at the hospital that neither of them wanted to see me" - Lucy starts getting teary again
"hey..its ok" tim pulls closer to her as he rubs her arm
after a while lucy gets up to go get food tim notices that Lucy had left her phone unlocked on the floor next to him. he sees that she had been messaging her mum but she hasn't been responding to any of the messages since the hospital, he notices the same with Lucy messages to her dad they stopped replying to her after the hospital.
they eat dinner and Lucy gets ready for bed
"hey Tim um can you stay tonight, i um just want some company" lucy
"yeah sure, ill sleep on the couch" tim
"no please sleep with me" lucy
"luce" tim
"tim please" lucy
"yeah ok sure" tim
they go to the bedroom and they get in bed tim cuddles lucy as she falls asleep tim kisses her on the head
"i love you lucy" Tim quietly whispers under his breathe while tucking her hair behind her ear
