"morning sleepy head" Lucy

"i didn't expect you to be up so early" Tim

"ah yeah i thought i would go visit my mum this morning" Lucy

"are you sure thats a good idea" Tim

"yep i'm going to do it for my dad" Lucy

"ok if you think this is the right thing to do, but i'm coming with you" Tim

"ok hurry up and get ready were leaving in 10" Lucy

they arrive at Lucys mum's home lucy walks up to the front door

"come in" Mrs Chen

Lucy and Tim walk in

lucy hasn't seen her parents home in a while she sees pictures on the walls but none feature her or her father they walk into the kitchen to see her mother making a coffee

"What are you doing here" Mrs chen

"to check on you" Lucy

"and who are you" Mrs chen

"i'm Tim Bradford" tim

"oh the one who took my daughter away from me, didnt invite us to the wedding" Mrs Chen

"uh" Tim

"yes Tim is my husband but i was the one who didnt invite you to the wedding" Lucy

"look yes i regret dad not walking me down the aisle" Lucy

"see thats what you get" Mrs Chen

"you dont understand, i really wish i saw dad before he died i tried to see him in hospital but you pushed me away told me to never come back, i tried looking for him when he was missing but you hit me instead of helping me find him, you told me he didnt want to see me but now thinking about it he never had a say it was always you and now i will never see him again" Lucy

"you could have invited him to the wedding then you would have seen him" Mrs chen

"no i could of because you would have started a argument with me, you said he didnt want to see me and you didn't want anything to do with me.. so i didnt invite my own parents for that one reason" Lucy

"too late now no point coming to complain to me... He's dead" Mrs Chen
"i know and it looks like you have moved on already, its been two days and there is not photo of him anywhere" Lucy

"its hard on me too i was married to him for years i cant stand seeing him around my house but not seeing him here in person" Mrs Chen '

"Yeah right" lucy says under her breathe

"excuse me what did you say" Mrs chen

"Yeah right is what i said, you did nothing on behalf of dad you only did things on your behalf" Lucy

"Lucy that is not true and you are being very disrespectful" Mrs chen

"me disrespectful, your the one who put me in therapy at a young age and called me a disappointment" Lucy

"if i may you both seem you have a lot to talk about how about we sit done and just talk it out" Tim

"no one wanted your input Bradford" Mrs chen

"do not talk to him like that" Lucy

"oh so now your telling your own mother what you can and cant do" Mrs Chen

lucy and tim hear a sound coming from upstairs

"who's upstairs" Lucy

"no one, whats it to you anyway" Mrs chen

"tell me who's upstairs otherwise i'm going up" Lucy

"Fine... my boyfriend" Mrs Chen

"What the hell so you have just moved on you didnt even leave time for grief, how can you just move on like that" Lucy

Lucy runs upstairs she opens the door to see someone looking out the window

"Oi what the hell are you doing, did you know her husband just died my father just died" Lucy yells at the person with their back to her
