"Do you have any objections? The two of us have not been apart for more than twenty years, and now that we are separated, it is not easy for us to be together. What's wrong with me staying with you for a month? Do you really want to kick me out of the house? Jennie, don't tell me that once you get married, you start to forget about your brother?"

"Forget your head!" Jennie took the tissue box and threw it at Kai's head. "Damn brat, where did all this nonsense come from?"

"Then hurry up and drive, I'm going to starve to death!"

Jennie: "..."

At seven in the evening.

Kai was sitting comfortably and lazily on the sofa. When the door was opened from outside, he immediately waved politely," President Manoban, please don't take offence. I'm going to stay here for a while."

Lisa's footsteps paused for a moment. His posture was calm and graceful, always warm and clear. He glanced at Kai, who had the same calm expression.

Kai, this damn brat, was rarely polite, but his attitude made Jennie, who was squatting in the kitchen, cried. She immediately got up and ran out of the kitchen, only to see two pairs of eyes, one calm and the other emotionless, were staring straight at each other.

Jennie shuddered and hurried over.

Lisa looked down at his hand and shook it gently and courteously said, "It's fine. I'm not someone who will take heart over something that is unimportant. I'm sorry, I'm late. I didn't know you would come here."

"I came uninvited, of course I was the one who was being rude here. Don't be offended." Kai smiled earnestly.

The atmosphere between the two of them was simply too strange.

Jennie's scalp tingled as she watched the two of them shake hands as if they were having a discussion. She remained at her spot and glared at their hands. She was thinking about whether or not she should separate them.

Lisa only smiled and exchanged a few more polite words with Kai. Then, he looked back at Jennie, who was holding onto a carrot. He rolled up his sleeves as he walked over. "What are you standing there for? Let's go to the kitchen."

With that, he took the carrot out of her hand and returned to the kitchen.

Jennie turned around and looked at Kai, who was standing in front of the sofa with his hands on his hips.

After entering the kitchen, Jennie became a little lethargic. She lowered her head and walked over to Lisa's side. She tried to explain Kai's presence to him. "Kai and I have been living together for over 20 years. It's hard for us to spend time together, so–"
