Yn pov I have been in foster care for one year till the adoption process was finished. I was getting adopted by the Kasbrak family in Derry. Today at 4:00am I took a flight to Derry. I arrived at 1:20pm Mrs.Kasbrak came to pick me up. I got in her car and she started talking. "Ok first off we must get you to the hospital to make sure you are not sick or injured and I'm guessing you don't know any English so I will talk real slow. My name is Sonia Kasbrak you can call me mom. You will have a brother named Eddie he is the same age as you. Tomorrow is the last day of school you will go with eddie to all his classes than it's summer. Do you understand a little of what I'm saying?" She talked slowly. I nodded. "Good!" She spoke. She seemed a little crazy but I will ignore for now. Just act like you only speak Italian and you will be ok.. I think.
We got to the hospital and they did a exam on me and said I was good to go and I was fine. We than went to her house. When I got there it was 2:00. She said my room will be right across from Eddie's room. I walked in my new bedroom and it was basic. So I spent a hour getting it decorated.

I finally finished at 3:00pm and suddenly there was a knock at my door. I opened it to find a boy the same hight as me. "Hey I'm Eddie your new brother or whatever you want to call me. Welcome to Derry" he said with a sweet smile. I could tell I was going to like him. "Mi chiamo yn. piacere di incontrarti Eddie" I said. (Translate- Eh my name is yn. Its nice to meet you Eddie) after that he left to go to his room. Tomorrow is the last day of school and I have to go. That is stupid.
