Prapai was working on his father's newest project for the company. Even though he was trying to focus on it, he found it hard when he thought about Sky. He was worried about him as he thought about how the boy was doing, hoping that he had managed to get safely to the therapist and that he would be able to go through the session well. Namtan could tell that he was concerned, so she didn't really push the man that much as he had already worked well in the past month and something big was clearly going on regarding Sky.

Prapai's phone suddenly rang, making the man turn to it right away. Even though it was an unknown number, the man didn't decline it and answered the phone, having a feeling that it was related to Sky.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Mr. Prapai. I'm Anumat, Sky's therapist."

Just as he thought, something had happened regarding his boyfriend, and he could already tell it wasn't good.

"Is something wrong with Sky?" he asked right away, anxiety already coursing through his veins.

"He hasn't shown up to the appointment and he is not answering the calls. I was wondering if he had forgotten or you knew of his whereabouts."

Prapai got up as soon as he heard her reply and turned to Namtan, mouthing "Sky" to let her know that he needed to leave immediately because something was wrong with his boyfriend.

"I will try to call him. If he doesn't pick up, I will follow the same route he was taking to head to your office. Something might have happened to him on his way there, so I'll try to find him."

"Okay. Let me know once you find him."

WIth that, he hung up and hurried out, getting in the car to drive following the direction Sky had headed. He was planning to chase after the bus he had gotten in till he reached the therapist's office first and then, if he couldn't find him after that, he would walk around the area. He tried to call him on his way, but just like with Anumat, he didn't pick up the phone and thus led Prapai to keep driving. He bit on his bottom lip out of nervousness and prayed that Sky wouldn't be hurt.

It didn't take him too long to enter the neighborhood. He looked around, trying to see if he would be able to spot the boy or anything that could lead him to where he was. He couldn't help stopping when he found a group of people circling around something on one side of the road. When he got out, he pushed through them and, much to his dismay, found his boyfriend on the ground, his eyes open but not moving or blinking at all and his body rigid. He took him into his arms and tried to get him to respond by shaking him.

"Sky, please! Say something or move even if it's just a finger!" he begged, terrified of the state he was in.

His gaze was completely devoid of any life, almost as if he had died. However, he was breathing and he had a pulse even though they were quite weak due to his state.

As much as the bystanders were confused over what had happened, they tried to do something to help even if they didn't know. A man stepped in, approaching Prapai.

"Sir, I already called the ambulance. They are on their way. I didn't really know what else to do when I saw that he wasn't responding at all. He has been like that for more than half an hour."

"Thank you very much" expressed Prapai as he clutched his boyfriend's body tightly.

The wait for the ambulance felt eternal to Prapai even if it only took around ten minutes for it to arrive. The medics quickly approached them and they placed Sky on a stretcher. Once inside, they invited him to join them and they headed to the hospital.

"Could you tell us what happened in detail, sir?" asked one of them while they checked out Sky.

"I don't really know what happened because I got here recently after I was informed that he hadn't shown up to an appointment," explained Prapai as calmly as he could. "When I got to him, he was already unresponsive. I think he might have gone catatonic. When he is very stressed or he has flashbacks regarding something traumatic he went through, he tends to go into that state."

"Okay, we will check that it's not due to any physical condition. If we find that it's not physical, we will leave him in the hands of the mental health professionals at the hospital."

Prapai nodded and sat down as he let the professionals work. His legs were restless and his heart was beating so fast it could even break out of his chest. He couldn't help but remember the time he, Phayu and Rain break into his condo to find a catatonic Sky once again in Gun's clutches. That time he was suffering so much his body had shut down to protect itself, and now it was no different. Something must have triggered him and led him to such pain that he ended up falling into that state.

The ambulance reached the hospital in fifteen minutes and, before they could enter the building, the medics finished checking out Sky.

"There's nothing indicating that the root cause is a physical condition, so we will take him to the psychiatric emergency room."

Prapai followed them inside and all the way up into the floor dedicated to mental health emergencies. They got in a room and placed Sky down on a bed temporarily.

"The doctors will be here right away."

The medics left, leaving Sky and Prapai alone. Prapai took one of Sky's hands into his and caressed it. He had noticed that his eyes had been shedding tears, indicating that he was suffering while being trapped in that state. It shattered Prapai's heart completely seeing his boyfriend going through such pain again and being unable to do anything to actually help him. Even his own eyes teared up as he thought about it.

The psychiatrists arrived a couple of minutes afterwards and they jumped into action right away.

"The medics have told us everything. We will give him medication that will make his body relax and help him get out of the stupor he is in. We will do it intravenously so it takes effect faster."

They quickly stuck a needle on one of Sky's hands and left it inside of it. Through the end of it, they connected a syringe with the medication and injected it.

"After 15 minutes it should already have taken effect. If we see that he remains unresponsive, we will probably have to admit him and move him to one of the rooms downstairs."

With that, they once again left. Prapai clutched Sky's hand as he prayed for the younger man to recover quickly. He couldn't bear thinking that his beloved was trapped in those traumatic memories, suffering it all over again. Sky had already gone through enough. He wanted him to live happily without the past haunting him so often. Prapai couldn't help but tear up when he thought about it.

Slowly, he noticed that the tears that had been falling down from Sky's empty gaze had stopped and his body wasn't as tense as it had been before. A few seconds later, Sky managed to blink and his eyes no longer seemed to be empty. He turned to Prapai once he got back his ability to move and smiled softly.

"P'Pai..."

That's all it took for Prapai to finally start crying as he pulled the boy into a hug, holding onto him as if he was going to lose him if he didn't.
