A week later.
Nam dug into her food in the dining room. Her face is swollen. The Asian Film Award Show was coming up in a few days and she had no date yet. She knew she could not take anyone because rumors might start spreading around and she did not want that.
She sighed, standing up from the table and dragging her feet to her bed. She had lost her appetite to eat anything. Her bed was cold as she lay on it. Nam hadn't realized how lonely she was until now. It was quiet and serene, she could hear the distant drops of rain outside and the light steps of Mary, the housekeeper as she walked to the dining room to clear the plates.
She was in her mid-twenties and she hadn't even had sex yet. And if not for the kiss scenes and movies, she was sure she wouldn't have had her first kiss either.
Heng was right, she had lived a boring life. And speaking of Heng finally found his profile on Instagram. She was shocked when she found out that he was the son of Cherisa Niels and the CEO of Neung Corporation.
Neung Corporation was one of the enemy companies of Ninety Two Corporation. And she was sure that he would not want anything to do with her. So that chapter was officially closed.
She didn't know why there were many stripes between the companies but she had seen a lot of business news about them and they weren't nice at all.
Nam pulled her duvet over herself, her head sinking into the pillow. She closed her eyes to sleep but her mind drifted back to Heng again. Maybe he knew who she was now. Her billboards were all over Bangkok so surely he must've seen some.
A light chuckle left her lips, she could not even imagine the name Heng would call her in her mind. He was so mad that she got drunk all alone in a bar what would he say when he found out that she was an ace actress? Nam couldn't help but laugh. The little time she spent with him was nice. Too bad it was never going to happen again.
"Corn tortillas with melted cheese, sauteed baby greens, salsa and a fried egg, and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. " Nam spoke out loud as she took the meals on the menu.
"Anything Ma'am?" He asks.
And she shook her head. Her eyes glanced at her side and she saw two girls, obviously fans. Taking pictures of her. Nam mentally rolled her eyes. That one she hated being popular, you could never go out peacefully but then this is Siam Paragon, there wasn't much stalking around here. One thing was taking her picture sneakily and another was asking for a picture. She would've not denied them any pictures if they'd asked. But they were secretly taking pictures of her. Maybe other celebrities will appreciate it but she didn't. And there was only one way to make them stop.
Nam picked up her phone from the table and raised it. She positioned it as though she was taking pictures of the girls. The girls, who were a bit excited suddenly looked at her with shock written on their faces and they quickly brought down their phones looking away shyly.
"I didn't think you've been paying attention to fans so much." Nam heard a manly voice in front of her and she looked up from her phone immediately.
Oh my God! Her eyes widened as they fell on the person who had a slight smirk on his face.
Heng was sitting across from her table. His face is fresh and his eyes are staring straight at her. He had a new hairstyle on and Nam could swear, he looked twice as handsome as he did a few weeks ago. Without even realizing it, her heart slammed against her chest.
"H-How did you find me?" She asked, looking around her. Her cheeks blushed.
Heng smiled. "Clearly you are in a public restaurant, Anyone can see you."
