"JJ Maybank?"Doctor said unsurely.
"That's us."Pope said.
"So are you his family members?"
"No,no we're friends"
"Oh,well your friend is very lucky.
What you heard was true.He was dead but he was brought back to life."the doctor said as i stood up.
"Can we go see him?"i asked.
"Unfortunately only family members can visit."the doctor said as Pope started to explain to him.
"Screw this"i said running into the room.
"No,no miss"
"JJ"i said.I felt tears forming in my eyes as i hugged him.
"Sup"he said with that silly smirk he always had which made me laugh.
"How you holding up"i asked as Pope hugged him.
"Good,now that yo-yall are here."JJ said as he scratched the back of his head.
I smiled after what felt like years.
The couple of his recovery days went by quickly and i was with him the whole way.Today he gets to finally go home after 7 days.I know.Long.But he had severe injuries.
I was busy with packing his bag while he rested.
"You ok?"he asked me.
"I think that it's a suitable question for you"i laughed as i said.
"All done"i added.
"Pope's waiting in the Twinkie c'mon"
"Im comin',im comin' "he said standing up.
We loaded up the Twinkie and made our way.
I guess trio is back.
But not for long...
