~Sep. 3, Wednesday~This morning, the homeroom teacher was no where to be seen. Not unusual for the man, to be honest no one was sure how he still held a job considering his tardiness and too relaxed nature. A few people were counting down the seconds until the ten minute mark, when they could leave without getting in trouble. You sat hunched over the desk, chin in your palm with a blank expression, tuning out all of the chatter. That is, until Sukuna leaned forward, looking past you. "Megumi, Y/n swindled your dad last night."
Your jaw dropped, sitting up. "The hell? I did not!"
"I don't care. Better than him spending it on something stupid." Megumi shrugged, not looking up from scrolling on his phone.
"See? He has bad spending habits, not my fault." You gestured with a victory smile.
Megumi nodded in agreement, "I have to handle all the money. He gets an allowance."
You covered your mouth to hide a grin, "For real? That's hilarious."
"Poor old man." Sukuna snickered.
Your expression dropped, pursing your lips. "But then it feels like I stole from you."
"Like I said, I don't care. Just put it to good use."
"Thought you said you didn't steal it?" Sukuna teased.
You stuck your tongue out at him, "Keep going and I'll steal twenty from you next." You jumped as the door suddenly slammed open, handle hitting the wall.
"Haha, you guys aren't getting out of class! It's only been nine minutes and thirty seconds!"
There were a series of groans around the classroom.
-Cafe, 7:50pm-
The bell jingled as the door opened and you groaned internally. Sukuna held his usual disinterested expression, strolling toward the counter. "Hey thief."
You matched his expression, pointing the stirring stick in his direction. "Don't call me that if my manager is around."
His face twisted into a snarky look, but before he could talk anymore Toji smacked his head, "Shut it." He pulled out his wallet, "We'll take the same as before." You nodded, ringing it up before getting started. You didn't miss the small glare Sukuna sent Toji, the later noticing but ignoring it. Toji leaned against the counter with crossed arms, watching your quick practiced motions. "Sweetheart, you work every day?"
"Mostly, except Mondays. Sometimes I get Fridays off. But sometimes I pick up shifts." You answered.
He sighed, head falling back. "What's with you two? No way I was spending my nights working as a teen."
"You were lazy." Sukuna shot back.
"Gotta feed the shopping addiction." You joked, wrapping the food up. "Besides, I'm sure Sukuna makes a good little assistant right?"
Toji laughed while Sukuna shot you a glare, "He ain't too bad."
"Both of you shut the hell up."
"Have a good night." You called as they walked out.
-After close-
The gym was practically empty. Only a worker and two other people inhabiting it. You shoved your things into a locker before picking a corner to stretch in. Lunging forward with a soft breath your eyes slid shut.
