6. Ocean

~Sep. 22, Monday~

"Y/n, do you wanna come?" Yuji spun around on Megumi's desk.

"Where?" You looked up from your phone.

"The beach?"

"Isn't it a little late in the season for that?" You wondered.

"We just had this converstaion." Megumi grumbled.

"I wasn't listening to be honest." You shrugged.

"So do you want to?" Yuji smiled hopefully.

You sighed, "Sure."

"Nice! Sukuna?"

"You won't shut up unless I do." He sighed.

"No, I won't!"

You were the last to arrive, a towel and coloring book slung over your arm. It wasn't a common time of year to be at the beach, so no one beside the group was there. You trotted up to Megumi who sat alone on the sand under an umbrella, "Nobara was right, it is weirdly hot out huh?"

"Yeah." He hummed.

Laying out on your towel, you instantly got to work on a half finished page. Megumi's lips twitched, "A coloring book?"

"Want the other page? It's an otter." You offered.

"...Sure."

"What the hell are you two doing?" Maki laughed, walking up with Nobara.

"Coloring." Megumi responded monotonly, eyes not moving from the page.

You sent them a knowing smile, finding his focus amusing. The two layed out to sunbathe on the other side of Megumi, and with the wind you were feeling a little cold. "Hey Megumi, I'm gonna go in the sun for a little. Feel free to pick another page if you want."

"Okay." He said absentmindedly, and you noted you should get him his own book. You moved your towel beside Maki and stripped of your shorts and oversized shirt, leaving you in your suit.

"Thats cute." Maki commented.

"Thanks, your's is too." You layed on your back, shielding the sun with your hand. 

"Nobara picked it-" On cue the ginger snored loudly, making you both laugh. "She always falls asleep in the sun." Maki sighed.

You hummed, "It is relaxing."

The three of you relaxed quietly, beside the occasional snore from Nobara. Maki woke her when it was time to flip, though she quickly fell back asleep.

"Yo, thief."

You yelped at the sudden voice in your ear, glaring up at the culprit. "Damnit Sukuna, don't scare me like that." An evil chuckle was all you heard before his arms wrapped around your waist and picked you up, approaching the water. You flailed in his grasp, "Don't you dare! Sukuna! Put me down you bastard!" He laughed at your misery, putting you down as you requested. If throwing you into the water could be considered 'putting down'. You popped up with a scowl, "I'm gonna kick your ass!"

You lunged forward however he caught your wrists before you could get too close, "You couldn't even if you tried." He grinned.

You narrowed your eyes, not shying away from his gaze. "I'm gonna get you back."

"No you aren't."

"Let me go."

"No."

Your lips piqued up, "Why? Scared?"
