9.The Crossing Of Paths!!

The days passed on in a blink nd today, it was finally the day when she have to come India.. Both Rey and Teju boarded the flight.. But teju was quite silent today as if she is trying fight the battle with her own thoughts..

Teju's POV;
Kyu baapa kyu?? Why?? Aapne mere india jaane k plan hi kyun banaya.. Aapko pata hai na pehle toh fir bhi jaati thi india but ajoba k baad waha jane ka mann hi nahi kiya kabhi.. Aur dusra woh incident, jisne mujhe mujhse hi nafrat karwa dii, ab jaake jab itne saalon baad mai finally acha feel kar rahi thi, apni alag si duniya mai khush rehne lagi thi, tab ab firse kyun milwa rahe ho mujhe apne uss dard se?? Itne saalon mai mai kabhi india nahi gayi aapko pata hai na.. Mai aarvi ki shaadi tak mai gyi as mujhe uss insaan ka chehra tak nahi dekhna hai.. Par aapko pata nahi kya maja aata hai mujhe aise tang karne mai!!

But her chain of thoughts got broken as Rey tapped her shoulder...

T: huh.. Haan.. Kya hua??

Rey: Kuch nahi hona hai teju, mai hun na saath.. Kyun tension le rahi hai, Haan??

T: Hmm..

Nd then side hugged him.. While Rey too took her in a hug nd caressed her hair.. Nd in a while due to emotional tiredness nd feeling that light strokes on her head, she fell asleep... Soon their flight landed nd taking a cab both went to teju's house in Mumbai as get together was gonna held at dev's house..

They reached at her house nd took the key from neighbours nd then fighting with her own emotions, she opened the door nd went inside... They house was not in so bad condition as they neighbour aunty used to take care of it nd also used to get it cleaned by some servants regularly...

So after coming inside, teju showed Rey guest room nd she too went to her room nd got freshen up... After getting fresh,
She nd Rey decided go nd buy some grocery that would be enough atleast for a week as Rey wanted to roam around nd explore mumbai, so teju too agreed..

Anyways as it was almost evening time they just made something simple, ate it nd slept... The next morning came fast nd the day went along in both taking some rest nd doing masti nd all nd now in the evening they gotta go at dev's house.. So both got ready nd went to his house...

Going there, teju met everyone nd even introduced Rey to all of them present their.. They knew about him but were meeting for the first time like in person..
(Kiah couldn't come due to her some important meeting) After a while, aarvi too arrived...

A:*hugging teju* Hey, kaisi hai?? After so long.. Thik hai na tu??

T:*hugging her back* Achi hi hun mai toh.. Tu bata kaisi hai.. Aur jeez kaha hai??

A:*breaking the hug* woh ishaan ki meeting hai abhi to woh nahi aa paya.. But ya mai aagayi!!*looking towards rey* u r Rey right??

Rey: Haan.. Nd u r aarvi.. Hii.. Nice to meet u..

A: Same here..

They were sitting nd talking nd teju was being sitted beside Rey.. Soon karan nd jenny too came there.. They all met nd greet nd karan even said hii to teju to which she too replied formally with a hii which was preety much obvious in her tone.. When jenny greeted her, at that time too she greeted her formally as they have never talked to each other before..

Here, on one side karan was happy that atleast he has a chance now to talk to her nd clear the past misunderstandings.. As teju went to drink water in kitchen, karan goo went there thinking, that he might get a chance to talk to her.. So he too went there and took a glass of water.. Nd said...

K: So how's life treating u??

T:*formally* pretty much nice..

K: Toh wapas aake fir kaisa lag raha hai??

T: kya hi lagna chahiye!!

K: Kyun tumhe yaha aake acha nahi lag raha hai kya??

T:*in a dry voice*yaha acha lagne jesa hai kya!!

As it took her long to come nd he knew that even karan had went there only, Rey too went to teju..

Rey: Teju.. Kya kar rahi hai??

T: Kuch nahi chall..

Nd she just went from there ignoring karan nd went nd sat there with all..

R: Toh teju koi boyfriend hai ya single??

T: Single hi hun..

Listening this karan smiled unknowingly internally.. He don't know why bit he felt happy listening that she is single..

Rey: Areyy iss devi ko abhi tak atleast 15 se 25 ladko ne propose kiya hoga roughly.. Kam toh nahi honge isse par jyaada ho sakte hai but iss ne saaro ko na bol diya.. Aur aisa bhi nahi tha k ladke ache nahi the, ekdum badhiya body shody wale aur nature bhi acha tha..

T: Haa toh already tu hai na mere pass aur waise bhi tu bacho se kam hai kya.. Toh faltu mai kyun kis aur ko apni life laun mai?? Jo hai jitne hai life mai unse aur unke saath hi khush hun mai!!

Listening this karan surely felt a pang in his heart but still the reason was unknown...

Rey: oyy tere mai kis angle se bacha lagta hun??

T: Harkate dekhi hai apni?? Hamesha khudka room ganda rakhta hai aur jab mera off ho, aisa nahi k chall chill karte hai but apna room saaf karwayega kamina mere se..

Rey: Haa toh mere paas bhi pareshan karne bas ek hi kamini hai na isliye..

Nd both got into their usual banter which though seemed fun at starting but latter on all were like bas kati yarr.. Except a person who was toh quite jealous from beginning only..

D: Bas.. Bas karo dono..

S: haan.. Kitna lad rahe ho..

N: Ekdum bf-gf wali vibes aa rahi hai..

Teju + Rey: yeh mera/meri bf/gf, kabhi nahi.. Hatt..

Nd started seeing in opposite directions.. But then saw towards each other nd burst out laughing..

T: Yeh mera bf nahi ban sakta hai.. Yeh already meri family hai..

Rey: Yeah the same goes with her.. Yeh bhi meri family hai..

But then the thing that caught their attention was dev nd sona saying something...

D: Guys we need na share something with u all..

A: kya??

S: that we gonna marry the following week..

D: Haan aur isiliye yeh plan kara tha..

All of them congratulated the couple but then teju said..

T: But meko nahi lagta k mai attend kar paungi.. As mujhe wapas jaana hai next week..

S: shaadi k baad chali jaana plss..

D: Haan aur agar Tu nahi hogi toh meri behen wali rashmein kon nibhayega.. Plss teju apne bhai k liye na jaa..

Rey: Teju ab jab aayi hi hai toh ruk jaa na..

Though karan didn't said anything but her saying that she need to go back was enough for him to shock him.. He felt like k somehow he just keep her with him.. Not let her go..

As all were convincing her including jenny she finally gave up the idea of going nd extended it a week more.. Nd hearing this karan felt good that atleast now he have some more chances to manao her.. Soon they all went to their respective houses...
