༄𖣘❁ Author's POV ❁𖣘༄ You were looking for a crew to join,it was one of your biggest dream,to travel the World as you rember doing it with your mother,when she was alive... You build a boat by yourself,happy for the work you've done: you started to sail with your tiny but spacey ship,with barrels and other stuff aboard it,when all of sudden you see another tiny ship that was about to sail too right by the coast,you couldn't see well but it looked like aboard of it,there was a shape of a human,it was a boy with a straw hat talking to a...seagull? Is this guy stupid or something? But he didn't seemed like a bad person,it looked like he was searching a crew like you and wanted to explore the seas,the two of us have something in common,you could feel it. You wanted him to notice you, so you screamed at him:
-Hey! I'm coming in peace! I just want to explore the seas with a crew to search! What are you doing here all alone?-
The boy turned around to me,he seemed nice!
-Hey! Um...yeah! I'm searching too for a crew to sail with and um...I...I even want to explore the seas,and become king of the pirates!-
He raised his arm up while having a huge smile on his cute face.
-Well,I don't want to be the queen of the pirates but, we share a lot of likes!-
The boy laughed at me and stared at me like he was trying to say something with his eyes to me, but I couldn't understand it. The boy stopped staring at me while he said:
-Hey um, by the way, my name's Luffy! How about yours?-
He said with a huge grin again
-Uh...I'm Y/n! Nice to meet you Luffy!-
I shared my smile with him.
The boy interrupted the silence:
-Look,Y/n...I want to become the King of the pirates as I said to you before,so I need a crew to sail with,and you too want to explore the seas with some friends by your side,so, do you want to join my crew?-
I didn't even thought twice that all excited I said to Luffy:
-Sure! You even seem to be a good guy!-
Luffy continued:
-Yes! Thank you! Here,take this,it should be necessary to let our boats come close by so you can come up with me!-
He threw me a rope while saying that.
-thank you! Yeah it should be necessary!-
We made our boats touch by, as I was about to make my first step to his boat,I stumbled and I was about to fall down,until Luffy got me by his arms.
-Woah! Be careful!-
Luffy said,while we stayed still looking into our eyes,Luffy seemed to blush and I did too. I said: -U-Um...So...W-Where do you wanna go to find the One Piece first? Haha...-
I said with a nervous laugh at him.
-O-Oh...We need to find the map of the Grand Line first! But I don't know where is it...Could you help me with that Y/n?-
I looked at him again and I thought that I could know where it would be.
-I think, that it is by the Marine's Headquarter in Shell Town,we should go there and...Oh...Do you have intention to steal it?...-
Luffy looked around at the sky while he smiled and he said:
-Yeah! That's what we're gonna do!-
I placed my hand on my face,do he really think that it would work? The Marines could kill us if they found out it!
-Oh well...Okay then,let's go and find the map from the Grand Line.-
-You're the best friend I've ever had Y/n!-
He said with a big smile, I looked at him while smiling too,he had again that gaze that I couldn't recognize what would that mean,but it looks like he his...in love with me?! No...That would be impossible,we still don't know each other well,let's not think of that,we need to find a really important map for our dreams!
