(A/N)
Hey it's me Stephanie. welcome to my second book. MY SECOND WORK.
Gush I'm so excited and nervous.

-------THE SUNRISE-------

The setting of the book is my beloved country, Nigeria (AFRICAN GIANT), specifically I used Lagos State.

I'm not Yoruba neither do I live in Lagos State, but i grew a liking on the Yoruba culture and tradition.
You can't blame me though, their style is Ame....zing. Let's not even get into details about their cultural attire, iro and buba. It's simply splendid.

I'll also be using Yoruba languages, and Nigerian slangs. But not to worry for the sake of our foreign readers I'll be translating at the end of each chapter. That's if there's a slang or Yoruba language in that chapter.

I'll be using some fictional places in Lagos, since basically I don't live there.😂 I'll be sure to point out all the fictional places as we get started on the book.

Let's get into the basic details of the book. Don't wanna bore you with my long words and traditional stuff.

So THE SUNRISE is about a girl named Temitope, her younger brother Shola and father Mr Tunde who's suffering from partial stroke.

Asking about the mother, right?????.

You'll find out as we proceed. I love surprises or don't you????.

Life wasn't particularly stable for them, but they survive.

After and through it all fate decide smile on them.

Find out WHEN, HOW AND WHERE........

When it looks like things had started going right, life had began to make more meaning, the clouds suddenly becomes blurry again.

But....... "Beneath every dark cloud lies a sunrise"................

________ ASIDE______

So guys i can't do this on my own, I need all the love and support as I can get from you all.

Do don't let me down and I won't let you down.........

Some readers will begin to question why I like writing stories that are somewhat based on life and it's struggle.
Honestly i can't explain it myself, don't get me wrong I love fantasies, fairytale and happy endings....... But I actually prefer reading them than writing, because firstly I personally think books containing the unruly and not so perfect side of life enlightens and allows us to think deep and reflect about life as it is in actuality.

Secondly and more importantly I'm so not good with writing fantasies and fairytale. (Hey just being honest)😌
But I'm getting there... I hope.

As promised I will translate all the Yoruba language which are basically just names for now, for our foreign readers. But on our first chapter.

BUT MEANING OF IRO IS A YORUBA NATIVE SHIRT.

AND BUBA IS A YORUBA WRAPPER.

Quick reminder, the name Temitope can actually go both ways. Because you can either use Temi or Tope for short, but in the book I used Tope.

I've come to figure out that foreign readers tends to be curious about African tradition. It's a good thing though.

Loads of love from me Stephanie:-).......
