The living room was aglow with the warmth of the fireplace and the twinkling lights of the tree. Colby, seated on the floor with a pile of presents in front of him, was struggling to wrap a gift.

When you caught a glimpse of Colby's clumsy gift-wrapping attempts, you couldn't help but chuckle and offer your assistance.

"Need some help there?" you teased, a sly grin on your face. Colby shot you a mischievous look and grinned back, "Nah, I got this," he said, fumbling with the wrapping paper.

Sam on the other hand was sitting across the both of you doing a lot better than Colby.

"Dude, I think you're making this a lot more complicated than it needs to be," Sam chuckles shaking his head.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. I think my wrapping skills are pretty good," he shows you and Sam the gift he had just finished.

Colby held up his gift with a proud grin. "See, I told you I've got this gift-wrapping thing down."

Sam chuckled. "Sure you do, Colby. You're a regular wrapping prodigy."

You rolled your eyes playfully. "Come on, Colbs, let me show you a few tricks that'll blow your mind."

Colby hesitated for a moment, before finally relenting. "Alright, I suppose I could use a little help. Teach me your ways, n/n."

As you leaned in to show Colby how to properly fold the wrapping paper, your hands brushed against each other. It was a brief moment, but the contact sent a spark of electricity through you both.

Colby's cheeks flushed slightly, and you couldn't help but notice the warmth of his touch.

For months, you had been harboring feelings for Colby, admiring his goofy charm and infectious energy from afar. But despite the growing connection between you, you had always held back, afraid of the potential rejection or awkwardness that could come with confessing your feelings.

Still, every time you were around Colby, your heart fluttered with excitement, and you couldn't deny the attraction you felt towards him. It was a constant tug-of-war between your fear and your desire, and they weren't sure how much longer they could keep it hidden.

It's moments like these where you really start to wonder if something more could happen between the two of you.

As the gift-wrapping lesson came to an end, you couldn't shake the feeling that you needed to talk to Colby, to finally tell him how you felt. It was as if your heart was beating out of your chest, urging you to speak up and take the leap.

So, when the group decided to take a break for some hot cocoa, you seized the opportunity to pull Colby aside for a private conversation.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" you asked, your voice trembling slightly with nerves. Colby nodded.

"Sure, what's up?" He asks as he guides you to his bedroom and closes the door behind him.

"Well..." you began, your voice barely above a whisper, The room fell silent, and your heart continued to race as you tried to gather the right words to say without completely messing it all up.

"I kinda maybe really like you..." You close your eyes for a moment, terrified to see his reaction, but when you open them back up, he's standing there with the biggest grin on his face.

"What? Why are you smiling like that?"

Colby shakes his head and gently places his hand on your cheek, "I already know that."

"How?"

"Sam blurted it out the other day when we were editing a video."

"Of course he did! Wow, I'll remember that Sam."

"It's a good thing, I kinda maybe really like you too."
