Hamilton reacts to Hamilton

1: Alexander Hamilton

*on the tv a man walks onto the stage, he looked very similar to Aaron. How was this possible? Aaron had no memory of ever being on a stage..*

[AARON BURR: how does a bastard, orphan..son of a whore..]

*this makes Aaron raise an eyebrow..who was he talking so vile about..?*

[AARON BURR:  And a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence impoverished in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar?]

*There was only one person he knew from the Caribbean..*

"Erm..this sounds a bit like Hamilton, don't you think?" *Aaron questioned. Alexander looked at him like he was stupid*
"That's why it's named "Hamilton"...it's not rocket science.."

[JOHN LAURENS: the ten dollar, founding father without a father..]

"Laruens..! That's a very insulting way to speak about a friend, don't you think?" *Alexander asked Laurens. He shrugged*
"Honestly, I don't even know who you are.."
*Alexander's offended look remains, despite Lauren's confusion*

[JOHN LAURENS:..got a lot farther by working a lot harder. By being a lot smarter, by being a self starter. By fourteen..they placed him charge of a trading charter.]

*the Schuyler sisters smile and they look at Alexander. They look slightly surprised. Amused, even.*
"Impressive." *Angelica says with a chuckle*

[LAFAYETTE: and everyday while slaves were being slaughtered and carted away across the waves, he struggled and kept his guard up. Inside, he was longing for something to be a part of. The brother was ready to beg, steal, borrow, or barter.]

"That's a crime, is it not? Well, I wouldn't expect anything more from...you..I guess." *Jefferson says with a snicker. The king seems bothered by everyone's presence. Alexander rolls his eyes.*

[HERCULES: then a hurricane came and devastation reigned, our man saw his future drip, dripping down the drain..]

*Alexander couldn't help but give a slight head nod as the song went along. He usually was into more classical music but he had to admit this was quite good.*

[HERCULES:..put a pencil to his temple, connected it to his brain and he wrote his first refrain, a testament to his pain.]

*almost everyone was starting to actually to be interested in this. A musical that tells stories about Alexander's life..*

[AARON BURR: Well, the word got around, they said, "this kid is insane, man!" Took up a collection just to send him to the mainland "Get your education, and don't forget whence you came and the worlds going to know your name, what's your name, man?]

[HAMILTON: Alexander Hamilton...-]

*Eliza and Angelica smiled when Alexander appeared on screen. They were loving this already..even if they were just a few minutes in.*

[HAMILTON: my name is Alexander Hamilton. And there's a million things I haven't done, but just you wait, just you wait..]

[ELIZA: when he was ten his father split, full of it, debt-ridden two years later, see Alex and his father bed-ridden Half-dead sittin' in their own sick the sent thick..]

*Alexander had a faint memory of his mom and dad. His father's name was James A. Hamilton and his mother's name was Rachel Faucette Buck. He couldn't recall much about his father but he knew that his mother was a shop owner. Even though he was an illegitimate child, he appreciated her for taking care of him.*

[EVERYONE EXCEPT HAMILTON: and Alex got better but his mother went quick.]

[GEORGE WASHINGTON + COMPANY: Moved in with a cousin, the cousin committed suicide. Left him with nothin' but ruined pride, something new inside. A voice saying "Alex, you gotta fend for yourself" he started retreatin' and readin' every treatise on the self.]

*Eliza looked over to Alexander to see him becoming increasingly intrigued. He begins to wonder how much of this will be correct, completely forgetting that remembering his cousin fills him with slight dread*

[BURR + COMPANY: there would have been nothin' left to do for someone less astute he woulda been dead or destitute without a cent of restitution started workin', clerkin, for his late mother's landlord. Tradin' sugar cane and rum and all the things he can't afford. Scammin for every book he can get his hands on..-]

*Thomas snickers as he hears this. He couldn't believe he was here, watching some type of silly musical instead of being in his office.*

[BURR + COMPANY, CONTINUED: plannin' for the future, see him now as he stands on (ooh) the bow of a ship headed for a new land, in New York you can be a new man]

*Peggy couldn't help but enjoy the music. Despite the sad lyrics, it was actually very catchy.*

[COMPANY: Alexander Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton) we are waiting in the wings for you (waiting in the wings for you) you could never back down, you never learned to take your time! Oh Alexander Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton) when American sings for you, will they know what you overcame? Will they know you rewrote the game? The world will never be the same, oh]

*Theodosia finds herself humming along to the song, despite how her father felt about Alexander*

[BURR + COMPANY: the ship is in the harbor now, see if you can spot it (just you wait) another immigrant commin' up from the bottom. (just you wait) his enemies destroyed his rep, America forgot him.]

[HERCULES + LAFAYETTE: we fought with him]

"hell yeah, we did!" *exclaimed Hercules as he jokingly shouldered Lafayette, who was on his other side. Lafayette laughs*

[LAURENS/PHILLIP: Me? I died for him.]

*Laurens gives an awkward laugh in response to this lyric. He didn't know how to feel about someone who looked like him saying such a thing.*

[WASHINGTON: Me? I trusted him.]

"they got that right." *George said with a smile on enjoyment."

[ELIZA + ANGELICA + PEGGY/MARIA: Me? I loved him.]

"haha..what??" *Eliza mutters as she turns her head to look at Peggy and Angelica. Peggy shrugs and Angelica looks away*

[BURR: And me? I'm the damn fool who shot him}

*a look of surprise fills Aaron's face as he hears that. Alexander looks to him* "you did what??"

*Alexander is met with silence as the song keeps playing*

[COMPANY: there's a million things I haven't done, but just you wait!}

[BURR: what's your name, man?]

[COMPANY: Alexander Hamilton!]

*the song ends and all eyes are on Aaron. Aaron then remembered the letter he was writing before he came here and he looks back to everyone* "oh, please. don't be fooled.. lets move on."

"honestly, I couldn't care less about what happens." *says the king. everyone just looks back to the screen as another song plays..*
