Theodosia Burr has been but a shell of her former self since her mother passed away. She's engrosses herself into her studies, making no time for socializing. She works hard, never stopping even for a moment as to honor her mother's wishes. This all changes when she meets Philip Hamilton. Philip Hamilton's life at home has been in disarray since 'The Reynolds Pamphlet' was published. He used to think his parents had the perfect relationship. Now he has lost hope that he'll find a love like that. Or, he did, until Theodosia Burr walked into his life. It seemed as if the two were meant to be. The only problem? Their fathers have been rivals for years and that doesn't look like it's changing anytime soon.

Theodosia Tran was surprised, to say the least, when 12 pilots and a former SAS agent stumbled bruised and bloody into the small village she was working in as a field doctor. She never got to meet James Conrad, but when she gets invited to go on a surveying job for a mysterious island in the Pacific, Theo realises that not only is Conrad on the same trip, but that the scientists are hiding something. She just didn't expect it to be an oversized ape.
