I made my way down to the kitchen to find her washing the plates.
"A how much money dem give yuh now?" I ask her.
She kiss her teeth "Mhi just inna a good mood, mhi cook white rice and curry chicken, and before yuh seh nth, yes mhi burn the curry and nuff peppa in deh," I clap her.

"Shut up," she roll her eyes and continues washing the dishes.
Now looking at the food in reach mhi deven bada hungry, but if mhi nuh eat dem o cuss mhi.

I push my thoughts away and share out some of the good. "Anna yuh mek juice?" I ask my sister while taking a spoonful of the food.
It nuh bad.
"No, we have so much juice inna the fridge why would I?" mhi swrr she just sassy fhi no reason.
"Ya talk to suh likkle girl," I point the spoon at her and she flashes some of the water in me.
