I feel Violet awake and sit up shaking, I know she thinks I'm asleep, but I lie awake every night pretending to be asleeps until I feel her drift off, I know she tries to do the same for me, but she's been working hard on her signet lately and needs her sleep so she doesn't notice when I pretend to go to sleep, I know she worries about me but she really doesn't need to, I'm used to getting little sleep, hell I've been doing it for 6 years.
I'm about to ask if she's ok when I hear her sigh and whisper "Fuck I've lost my mind again haven't I? I miss you so much" It's barely loud enough for me to hear even with my shadows swirling around, I know I shouldn't but I also know that she probably won't tell me of somethings wrong, so I stay still and focus on her words.
