Dinner was done, and Huening was scribbling down the answer to the last question of his Algebra homework. His pencil moved insane-speedily over the paper. It didn't even take two minutes and he was done. The boy put his pencil down and snapped closed the copy, causing a blunt thud, which made his brother who was sitting on the bed talking to Taehyun over the phone shoot the ravenette a disgusted glare.
"What y'all talking about?" Huening climbed on the bed, sort of snatching one of the airpods from his brother's ear and plugging it in his own.
Taehyun's giggles came through the speaker. "Is it Huening?"
"Yeah It's me." Said Huening, lips pursed cutely atop of each other.
"Hmm.." The peach-head hummed over the call adorably. "Now that you're here, it's better. I been planning on calling you for awhile now."
"For what?" Jungkook wasn't sure if it was a spark of jealousy that made him spit the two words out.
"About Soobin. Beom told to me that you'd told him stuffs and said that I should tryna speak to Huening. He said I'm better with words than him."
The youngest looked at his brother in confusion, brows knitted as he eyed the blonde with suspicion. "About Soobin? What's the matter?"
"Look, Huening, we all know that you like Soobin amd that he doesn't see you the same way. You been trying to make him fall for long enough but kept failing. So, we're trying to wash your brain so you find yourself a way to move on." Taehyun ranted out.
"What-" The youngest exclaimed out of shock and shot a glance at his brother. "Who told you all these! There's nothing!"
"Shut up! You're obvious enough." Jungkook scolded lightly.
"Exactly. We're either screaming to him that you like him or else you gonna do something so you can move the fuck on. You have a fucking life to live and can't be head over heels for him forever!"
Huening kept quiet, considering the words which were nothing but the truth.
"We can point it out to him that you like him." Jungkook offered carefully, observing his brother. "We can play the Cupid to make him fall for you. But honestly, it hurts us to see you all broken because of him and us being able to do nothing about that."
"Huening?" Taehyun called out to make sure the boy was there, as there hadn't been any response from the ravenette to none of the older two's words.
The youngest heaved a long exhale through his mouth, attempting to push out the pain through the sigh, which although, kept lingering on his already aching heart. "I think..... you're right." He took his bottom lip in between his teeth and nibbled on it uncertainly.
The elder two kept silent, knowing he had more to say. "I need to move on. He's not worth it." His vision started to turn blurry with warm tears. "I'll see what I can do. Thank you." He closed his eyes shut, unwilling to let the tear roll down.
"We didn't mean to hurt you, Ning." Taehyun was worried and scared off a little by the sudden change in Huening's voice.
"It's fine." Voice trembling and cracking slyly with raw emotions, Huening rasped in between Taehyun's words that came through the speaker. "Thanks for smacking sense into me before it could be too late." He tried his hard to keep his voice steady and attempted to giggle at the end of his sentence, but it appeared worn-out.
Swallowing thickly, he excused himself from there and set off to the washroom. Jungkook shook his head at the swung open door through which his brother had stormed out as the blonde breathed out a sigh.
