Two or so weeks were quick to pass, as well as making the finals draw nearer. Yeonjun and Beomgyu, majoring in the same subjects were dumped with tons of homeworks and assignments, too busy to even take notice of the time that slipped away.

Last night, Beomgyu had been finishing off his Philosophy assignment and he had dozed off leaning against the swivelling chair that stood in front of his reading table. So, when he found himself awoken by the sound of his alarm in the next morning, his brain wasted a couple of seconds processing the questions like who he was and what he was doing.

Eventually, when the walnut-head stood up grumpily and grabbed his phone to switch off the alarm, a certain notification displayed on the screen caught his attention.

It was a reminder from the calendar app that today was his and Yeonjun's one month anniversary.

Thank goodness he had set the date on the calendar or else he might have forgotten it! Well, might have forgotten only because his mind was fogged with the annoying homeworks and assignments that had him awfully busy. He even had bought a present for Yeonjun a week ago in his leisure time because he had already known forgetting things while being under pressure wasn't something unfamiliar of his attitude.

The boy smiled to himself sleepily at the thoughts of his boyfriend as he quickly typed him back a 'yeah... morning'.

Yeonjun was always a typical early riser at school days; so everyday when Beomgyu would finally drag his ass up from his bed, a 'good morning :D' message from his boyfriend would be knocking on Beomgyu's door.

The walnut-head put the device down on the table and padded towards his closet, just to make sure the present he had bought for Yeonjun was safe and secure inside it.

Yes.

The glinting baby yellow box inside his top drawer was still there, looking perfectly okay.

He heaved a short gush of wind out of his lungs and went off to get done with his other stuffs at morning.

"Bye mom!" Beomgyu yelled for his mother as he shut the door behind and jogged to where Yeonjun's car stood.

He pulled the door and hopped inside the passenger's seat by his boyfriend and flashed him a bright grin right after he had closed the door back on.

Yeonjun mirrored his boyfriend's curves on lips and drove out of the driveway.

Beomgyu was waiting for Yeonjun to say something but the elder seemed quite busy in driving the car. The walnut-head kept shut as minutes past by and his heart started cracking a tad little.

What the hell is he thinking? Did he forget it's our one month anniversary?!

Beomgyu felt wildly restless inside as he tapped his left foot on the ground rhythmically.

But the whole drive was silent as usual and Yeonjun appeared way too forgotten that it was apparently not an ordinary day.

They reached the class side by side, arms linked with each other. But, as other usual mornings, Beomgyu hadn't made the attempt to attach their forearms while walking through the school-gate. It was Yeonjun, who had been waiting for the gesture to be done, but eventually had given in and done it himself as there had been no effort from the younger.

But as they were going to walk through the classroom's entrance, Beomgyu hitched in his spot. Yeonjun was almost slipping but thankfully managed to get a hold of himself. He followed the younger's sight and spotted something that made him flash a toothy and teasing grin.
