TWENTY-FIVE

SCENERY :: ROYAL COMMON ROOM

PERCY SAT IN HIS BEDROOM. He felt tears once more, you would think that as goofy as he is that he'd be ok. Alas, no luck came to his mind. He's been through two wars, now here comes another, where gods need him to win it. He knew that one day they would let him rest knowing peace, but that wasn't here yet.

"Hey, Perce—" Thalia came to his room, wanting to ask if he wanted some cookies from the pantry. He stood there, worried she would call him weak, lame. Instead she rushed to his side, "Oh Percy... Don't worry, it's all good. I know Annabeth isn't here, so let's talk about your favorite moment with Chiron."

Percy sniffled with hiccups as his head laid against his cousin's lap, "It was my first day— at camp. After the war, he gave me ice cream. And— he said— Sometimes we all melt like ice cream, and we need a cone to hold us— you're my cone, and I'm yours."

"That's great. Y'know, once he told me that i was mint to the ice cream. And then he said he hated mint," Thalia scoffed. Percy laughed at the thought of Chiron telling her that. Thalia rambled on, "can you believe that! Mint is the best.! It was just mean."

"Ya, ya. Did you know it's Jason and Piper's anniversary tomorrow?" Percy sniffed. He stood up straight and grinned as he pulled out a gift. Thalia gasped with a smile.

"Maybe I could just get them out of Hogwarts, that'd be the best present," Thalia joked. Percy rolled his sea green eyes with a nod. "Honestly, they're great together. Piper has said that Jason seemed a little distant. Then I found out he was making her a present."

"WHAT!?" Percy gasped. His tan hands clasped his mouth with a loud clap. Thalia cackled as his eyes widened.

"I found him in his room covered in glitter!" Thalia yelped. Percy laughed, cackling with joy around at the scene.

"Hey—" Jason said walking in with Nico. When he came into view Percy cackled with a red face. Jason groaned in realization, "you told him!? He isn't going to let this go."

"what? He was crying and the best way to comfort him was that. You can't blame me, he's been my friend for so long and oohhhh I couldn't wait," Thalia said with obvious sarcasm and exaggeration. She smiled at her brightly colored brother then at Nico who grinned.

"I swear on Hera you are dead, Thalia," Jason muttered. He sat next to Percy who finished his assault of laughter. Jason smiled, "Anyways, Apollo already told the gods that tomorrow or the next day they'll be expected."

"Oh?" Percy questioned. He quickly stood up from the floor with a curious expression etched against his smile. Nico laughed slightly, "don't think you're ok. Especially when I saw you cuddling to a sleeping Will with boxers and Will's t shirt on!"

"Wait— now I need to hear about this!" Thalia grinned evily. She laid against her stomach, with her palms against her face. Nico blushed in embarrassment from the situation.

"No. Percy, if you ever mention that story then I swear on the river styx that you will never survive your own embarrassment," Nico swore on his life. Nico smirked as he remembered many incidents of him, certain things.

"Fineee," Percy huffed and sat down. "You owe me coffee then."
