Vegaspete: College Universe II

The Past.

Five Years Ago...

Kant was finally jailed for his wrong doings, but that Motherfucker pulled Vegas in too, as he considered him as a part and active participant of his crimes and although Kinn was trying his best to get the finest lawyers, it was still a doubt.

While Pete, who was in hospital, recovering, and Vegas was with him, his mom was taking care of Pete's grandparents, and it was seemingly quiet, the quiet before the storm, which no one was prepared for, cause for them, it was their happy ending as the villain was out of the frame.

But that doesn't mean the villain won't reappear, cause he did and won, like he used to everytime. Kant, with the help of his connections, managed to break through and ran away, to get the revenge he desperately wanted after the betrayal he never thought about.

But he wanted it to be worth it, cause it was a hell lot of people he had beef with. And the beginning was with the weakest.

Grandpa and Grandma, were killed in a car accident, which he did himself, smashing their car off the road and leading to the end to their near end extinction.

Everyone was baffled, thinking off it as a omnious sign, everyone went into hiding and stayed alert, but no one can stop death.

On one side they kidnapped Macau, to which Vegas and Kinn hurried for, leaving the key most people behind, his mom taking care of Pete, who still haven't properly recovered from his injuries.

Kant killed Vegas's mom and apparently Pete too, who was saved as Porsche arrived there by chance, that's when he came to know that Macau was just a trap, as he was long gone before Vegas could even reach them.

In the hospital, Vegas didn't know where to go, to his mom' funeral or Pete, who was in critical situation. He cried on the hospital floor, blaming himself for loosing everything he ever had.

"Only if I was more strong, only if I wasn't a fool, if I had never brought Pete into all this, if I had kept mom more safe. If I had kept my promise to Pete for guarding his grandparents. I am nothing but a loser who brought death to everyone. I deserve to die instead of them."

That's when he recieves another call from his so called father, who was well aware of Pete being alive, and gave him a choice.

' Work for me again, and I will have mercy on your boy toy, and your brother too. Plus, for your punishment, you will go to jail in my name, for your mom's murder.'

The moment was itself suffocating for Vegas, but he doesn't want to lose what's left, and he agreed  without any delay, giving a last look to Pete, who was unconscious for days. It's like life wasn't there anymore for him, he was suffocated to the brim that nothing could've consoled him.

It's like his world, his safe place collapsed in a few days, his mom, his boyfriend, and there little happiness, everything was gone, forever.

Ending everything, that's the thought that appeared recurrently in his mind, cause it was more painful to survive than being dead, but even now, he couldn't be selfish since he was the only one who could do something if Pete ever gets in danger. If he will be gone, Kant will for sure  something to them.

And that's how the time he spent was conflicting, but the time they spent together made him pass each day, reliving those memories in his mind again and again, crying in the night, the prison was far more peaceful than the life outside.

He turned himself in, and served his sentence, keeping track of things, it was a blessing in disguise that Pete lost his memories, he was breathing, but he was dead from inside.

Until the day, he was released, and he saw Pete standing there, he thought it was an illusion, a mere Miraj, but it was real and he too couldn't decipher why. The urge to run and hug him was stopped as soon as he saw his dad's goons outside, that's why he coldly dejected Pete.

But ever since that day, he couldn't be at peace, the conflict in his mind to rush to him and bury him in his arms and never let him go anywhere else than his arms. He wished to run away somewhere with him and escape this cruel world, but he can't take away the life from him every again, what if something like that happen again that's why, he resisted himself.
