we were all walking towards the car after we ate and paid.

Ajax was waiting for me to enter the car so he could give me the still sleeping goth baby

"can we have her?" yoko asked from the back sit

"sure" me and Bianca helped to pass Wednesday over the car sit

"got it" Yoko and Divina were cooing over Wednesday

"she's a heavy sleeper" Divina commented

"yeah i think she is, but I don't know yet... last night she didn't sleep well, she was irritable all day and at night she fell off the bed"

"really? we didn't know that"

"yeah i don't know how you didn't hear her crying it was pretty loud"

"everyone in place? here we go" Ajax said closing the door of the car.

"hey guys wake were here!" Ajax said stoping the car

i turned to look at back sit Yoko and Divina had sleep and Wednesday was wide awake on her lap

"hi honey, you're awake" the moment she saw me her face lit up with a small grin at the corners of her lips, she attended her arms towards me

"in a minute baby" i said to her

"hey you two wake up" Xavier said when opening the car door

i got out followed by Bianca and Eugene

Xavier picked Wednesday and put her down on the ground, she looked around kinda confused and apprehensive.

"psiu, I'm here" i made the sound to get her attention it worked she came running towards me with abig smile, i welcomed her in my arms leaning down to be at her height

"hi i missed you, did you had a good nap?" she nodded and looked at Bianca to make sure saw that smile

Wednesday nodded then all of sudden she looked at me super surprised and pointed at her ear then at the direction the beach is

"oh someone is hearing the waves" Bianca said with a laugh "she is so cute"

"enid you can go ahead, i take your bag" Ajax said opening the trunk

i looked back to tank him with a smile, he smiled back

"come on let's see what's that sound" i said holding wednesday's hand and walking towards the beach

"waves" she said

"yeah is the waves, the water makes this sound when hits the sand"

"clouds"

"yeah there are clouds too"

"i like clouds"

"you like looking at them right?"

"yeah the sound of beach"

our group was the only people on the beach today, maybe because the sky was kinda of gray with a lot of clouds and little to no sun even being like 2 pm

"the weather is kinda gloomy today..." yoko said coming at our direction being followed by the rest of the group

Xavier immediately started running around the sand

"let's take Wednesday to the water" bianca invited me and the other girls

"you can take her, I'll be here helping to place things in place" i gave wednesday's hand for yoko to hold

Divina held her other hand and the four of them were off to the water, Wednesday looked back at me i gave her a thumbs up encouraging her that it's ok

i stayed with Ajax and Eugene

we placed the beach chairs and sunshades while Ajax lit the fire

"is that Wednesday's laugh??!" Eugene asked

i looked at the water, bianca was holding her by the hands and pulling her up when a wave came making her jump

i smiled at the sight "it is"

"she's actually laughing, i still can't believe it" Eugene said "I'm gonna go there"

i was left alone with ajax again

"so..." i started

"so?"

"what are you doing ajax?"

"what do you mean? what am i doing?" he said pointing at the the bonfire

"come on you know what i mean... you're making it harder for me to let go of us" the last part came out as whisper

"maybe because I don't want you to..." he mimicked my voice tone but somehow softer

"look enid, i like you" he took a deep breath "i like you a lot, the time we spent together was incredible i love you smile, your laugh, i love the smell you have when fresh out of the shower, i love the little jumps you do when excited... so i think deep down i have hope that you will change your mind and come back to me..."

i said nothing so he continued talking

"i wanna be the one you call in the middle of the night because you're scared of thunder storm, i wanna be by your side"

"Ajax I can't" my voice came out in a whisper almost inaudible from the tears I'm holding back

"hey don't cry" he hugged me and i couldn't hold the tears from spilling anymore "I'm sorry enid i didn't want to make you cry"

"no no don't apologize" i managed to spit out between hiccups he started to pull me towards the car

"ok you can cry nobody will se you cry here" i felt so safe and protect the only made me sob even harder and he only hugged me tighter

after some time i calmed down, he let go of me to look into my eyes "better?" i nodded and he dried the tears from my cheeks with the sleeve of his sweater and fixed my hair

"come on let's go back, the others must be wandering where we are"

he didn't expect an answer from me, didn't force me to say what is wrong, he just picked me up when i broke down, held me when i needed confort fuck he is perfect
