You Guys Break Up When You're Pregnant (PART 1)

Calum

You and Calum had ended on a somewhat mutual note. I mean, he said he wasn't feeling the spark anymore and you were willing to do whatever would make him happy. You practically worshiped the ground he walked on, and if he didn't really want you there, you were willing to leave. A month later, you found out you were pregnant. You don't even know how many times you considered calling Calum, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it. So two years after your break-up, your little baby boy, Max, was just over a year old. You left Max with your sister and walked a few blocks to go get diapers...but when you got to the store, you ran into Calum. "Oh...hey Y/N." Your heart clenched seeing him for the first time in two years, but you just smiled. "Hey." "How have you been?" "Um...okay, I guess," you replied, awkwardly shifting the box of diapers that you held to your stomach. Calum looked down and saw the box, blinking in surprise. "Oh, did your sister have a kid, or..." You didn't know how to respond, but you didn't have to, because your sister called right then. "Hello?" "Uh, Y/N?" "What's wrong?" "Max just said his first word..." Your eyes widened. "Max did what?!" Your eyes started watering as she told you he had just mumbled, "Mama." You hurriedly hung up, saying you would be there as soon as possible. Calum was just watching you as you dropped the diapers, ready to sprint to the door and run home, internally smacking yourself for not taking the car. "Whoa, slow down, what's wrong?" Calum asked, stopping you. "I need to get home now. It'll take me at least ten minutes to run there, I need to leave now." "Breath, I'll give you a ride. What's wrong?" You weren't thinking this through, but you nearly dragged him to his car, not answering his questions and urging him to go faster. When you got back to your house, you sprinted out of the car, unlocked the door and ran to the living room, where Max was sitting with your sister, Calum a few steps behind you. You ran to kneel next to him, as he reached for you, babbling out, "Mama." You nearly cried in happiness, picking him up and swaddling him close, mumbling, "Yeah. It's mama." That is, until Calum's voice rang out from behind you. "Mama?"

Ashton

Every night, your little girl, Callie, asked about her dad. And every night, you told her the same story, about how her dad was a brave man who had to leave to go find people all over the world and make everyone happy. And now that she was six, she was starting to ask more questions. "But shouldn't he be making you happy too?" You would smile, saying, "That's what I have you for." And it was true. Ashton broke up with you because he couldn't handle a long distance relationship. When you found out you were pregnant, you figured he left you because it got too hard, what was to stop him from doing that to her as well? You knew you that one day, she was gonna go and find him, but you didn't expect the day to come so soon. There was no doubt that Callie had Ashton's energy, and it was no exception when you two went to the park. You watched her run wild on the playground, turned around for two seconds to grab your phone from your bag, and looked back to see her gone. "Callie?" You jumped up, beginning to walk around the structure to look for her. You spotted her a few seconds later, talking to a guy who was crouched down on his knees, his back turned to you. "Callie!" you yelled, running towards her. She laughed, running around the guy and towards you. You picked her up into your arms, spinning her a few times. "What have I told you about running off?" She giggled. "Sorry, mommy! But he stopped me. I was gonna go over to the ice cream truck." You turned around to see the truck parked across the street. "Thank you," you said in a relieved sigh, turning back around, just to lock eyes with the one person you didn't want to see so soon. "No problem, mommy," Ashton whispered, referring back to what Callie had just called you.

Michael

Your and Michael's relationship had ended on a pretty bad note, consisting of a nasty fight between the two of you, a few broken plates, and you storming out for good. You found out you were pregnant a few weeks later and genuinely tried to get a hold of Michael, but he wasn't answering. Not even the other boys would pick up your calls. So you gave up, and went through the pregnancy with the support of your best friend, too embarrassed to even tell Michael's parents. A few after you had your daughter, Jess, the fateful day came when you ran into the boys. You were carrying Jess, who was nearly four and half-asleep on your shoulder after a long day at the fair. You were struggling to shift her to get a better hold on her when a little snore escaped her mouth and you couldn't help chuckling. "Y/N?" You nearly choked on the surprise that hit you as you heard Ashton's voice. You spun around and saw Calum and Ashton staring at you with wide eyes. They rushed you and took turns hugging the side of you that wasn't holding Jess. "We missed you so much!" You raised an eyebrow. "You didn't act like it when I tried calling you after the break-up." They immediately frowned. "Michael was so mad, we had figured it was best. But we regretted it afterward." "Is that Y/N?!" You faced Luke, giving him a hug as well. "You gonna explain who this little munchkin is?" Ashton asked, all of their eyes shifting towards Jess. "Well, boys, meet your 'niece', Jess." When their jaws dropped, you couldn't help but giggle a bit at how comical it was. "You mean...?" Luke couldn't even finish his sentence. You nodded. You didn't even know Michael had come up until his voice spoke from behind you. "I have a kid?"

Luke

You were actually the one who broke up with Luke. You found out you were pregnant about a week before his tour, and you knew he would insist on canceling the tour to be there to take care of you. But you couldn't let him do that, and a few days before he left for tour, you packed up and left a goodbye note. You knew you wouldn't be able to go through with it if you had to say it face to face. No matter how many times Luke had tried to contact you, you couldn't bring yourself to talk to him.You ended up having a pair of twins, Mariana and Jackson. And now, fifteen freaking years later, Luke had finally managed to get a hold of you. You were in the middle of cleaning the kitchen when the door bell rang. You in no way expected Luke to be at your door. You both just kind of stared at each other for a full minute before both rushing into a hug. You were crying by the time you pulled back. Luke didn't even have the chance to say anything before the your daughter came sprinting around the corner, her brother lazily trailing behind her with his earbuds plugged. "Mom! I got the part! The only freshman to have a lead role! I can't believe...Oh, who's this?" She stopped in her tracks as she spotted Luke. Luke was staring at her with wide eyes, noting on the the bright eyes that looked exactly like his. "Oh god. Um...Luke, I'd like you to meet Mariana and Jackson," you said motioning to your two fourteen year olds. "Mari, Jackson, this is...y-your dad." Mari's bag dropped to the ground in shock and Jackson let out a loud "What the fuck?!" You weren't sure what you expected from Luke, but fainting was not it. But he did just that, crumpling forward as his eyes rolled back. You and Jackson darted forward just in time to catch him for hitting pavement while Mari stood frozen.
