Silent Struggle Unveiled

I see the world as hearing,
Where my deaf people receive little attention,
What am I doing?
How can I offer when you've decided for me?
Label, label, the label is part of the system,
What gender you are, what race you are, what religion you are,
Define, define, in my deaf mind, I see myself as a man,
But no, you see me as a brown man with deafness,
But no, you put my name on the paper as part of a disability,
I am not normal in the eyes of the hearing world, and I am not normal,
Says the Label that's already decided for me, for my deaf people,
So, yeah, the commas keep going on and on,
What am I doing in the hearing world?
Too many thoughts.
