[Artoria's POV]

The moment those wings erupted from the strange boy's back, I could not help but be in awe at their brilliance. Each individual feather gave off a ethereal glow, giving the impression that each feather was actually a precious gem that had been polished to perfection.

And inside each feather I could see a raging inferno of flame in every color imaginable; red, blue, green, white, purple, and so many more combinations I had never thought possible

And inside each feather I could see a raging inferno of flame in every color imaginable; red, blue, green, white, purple, and so many more combinations I had never thought possible. The fire moved seamlessly from one feather to another, creating a beautiful moving tapestry across his two wings.

The sight was utterly mesmerizing; so much so that I almost completely missed his parting words.

"But look, whatever it is you have to do, try to remember that things tend to be easier with people by your side. Doesn't matter if you're a beggar or a king, everyone deserves to have someone who cares about them."

And then he was gone, leaving behind nothing but a trail of light and questions.

"Who was he?" I wondered silently as I watched the light grow dimmer and dimmer. I had never met anyone like him before, though in some ways he reminded me very much of Merlin.

I could sense that Y/N had similar kind of energy inside him; and while I wasn't nearly as adept at it as those who trained in magic rigorously, even I could sense the absurd amount of mana he had.

The energy inside him wasn't exactly the same, but only other person I knew with that much mana was Merlin. Was Y/N also be an incubus, or perhaps...

"Could he be that 'red-winged angel' those traveling merchants were talking about?" I wondered aloud.

"Oh good guess!" replied a familiar and annoyingly cheerful voice.

The voice belonged to a man I have known all my life; and he was someone whom I both deeply respected, but also found occasionally troublesome.

He had long white hair, strange ornate clothing, and a smile on his face that gave him the impression of being a "trustworthy big brother", but also somehow a screamed "shady con man".
