I feel like these ruin the book js read it it's good I promise it's worth it the first few chapters are kinda sucky /cringy but I promise this is a fire ass book
We're almost a month into tour and the one place I was dreading the most was Idaho not just Idaho Jerome Idaho don't get me wrong I am happy to be back but what are the fucking chances, whenever me and Nikki lived here as kids no one would come to Jerome you would always have to go to the text town over to see a concert that wasn't a high school band ran outta there parents basement but don't get me wrong I am grateful to be able to show hazel where me and Nikki met and fell Inlove and all that cheesesy bullshit, me and Nikki decided to skip the hotel bullshit and just stay with Nona and Tom the three days we're gonna be here it's Been a year or two since we've seen them anyway every now and then if we had the money we would come down for holidays and what not, Nona and Tom are great people they took Nikki in hell they even took me in when me and Nikki first ran away from Seattle, and half the time when Deanna would ship Nikki off I went along with him and they were nothing but happy to have us and anytime they seen hazel they would spoil her rotten they loved having a kid around again but they could actually give this one back

He smiled at me and kissed my forehead well we're about 10 minutes away from Nonas and Tom's the bus is gonna drop us off

the bus came to a stop at their little blue trailer a burst of Deja vu hit me but it was the good kind

As soon as I stepped off the bus I saw Nona rush out the door to great all 3 of us of course hazel first she grabbed her up so quick and swiftly it almost scared me Nona is a small woman and hazel was almost half her size , Tom hugged me and Nikki both smiling at Nona she put hazel down and looked at me and opened her arms well don't be shy now dear she smiled come on your not gonna break me she laughed
I missed you Nona I hugged her and kissed her cheek
oh I missed you too dear you look so frail has he been feeding you she eyed Nikki and engulfed him in a hug
Boy has he I'm pretty sure I've gained a pound or two I I am anything but frail smiled
I missed you Fran- Nikki she took a deep breath and gave him a kiss on the cheek Nona was the only one that was able to call him that and him let it slide
I missed you too Nona he smiled and kissed the top of her head
Let me get your bags Tom said grabbing our bags and walking inside the house we already knew not to protest against it, we followed him inside the house
Nona it smells great in here what have you been cooking I smile at her
Well I thought that you guys being on the road you don't get a lot of real food in ya so I thought I would make a few things
Well your not wrong Nikki said leaning against the counter watching her finish cooking watcha making he peered over the stove

Well I've herd you guys on the radio, and the record store that you two used to go to all they time has one of your albums she raised her brows

So Violet Nona looked up from what she was doing making me stop coloring with hazel, I herd about your father

Well he came by here looking for you I had no idea you two where that outta touch she said as she continued to make our plates
Well you know things where bad, but I think he might finally change and we might actually rekindle things he has a beautiful wife and a little boy now and he's actually trying it seems a few weeks ago we got into a little argument not a big one but he apologized and everything
Well if he ever causes anymore trouble call me I'll take care of it Tom patted my back
I've already gotten you two into plenty of fights I chuckled

What'd you guys do for Christmas this year Nikki asked his eyes following Nona setting plates down
Well your mother came by with one of her boyfriends and your sister, Celia was asking about you ya know she misses her big brother she said walking to the table and sitting down

Well don't freak out she's with your mother because her father passed this past spring but she already has a job and she has a nice little place in Seattle they just came by together, Tom sat down at the table with me and Nikki she got what do you call it Tom looked at Nona
She got emancipated last year Nona took a sip of her tea
Oh yeah I think she told me about that she called but I had no idea what it ment so I just went along with it he shrugged, I thought it was a test or somthing if I would've known about that before I left it would have been a lot easier to get a job
So when are you Two gonna give us some more grand babies she squeezed hazels cheeks
I almost choked on my food maybe one more in a few years
Well what do you think son Tom looked at Nikki
What violent said, maybe when things settle down and tour ends and get a bigger place he shrugged
I'm telling you kids it's easier to have them closer in age you get used to the pattern and they get along better Nona nodded
_______ Violet A few hours went by And we sat hazel a sleeping bag up in Nikki's old room beside his bed she went to bed early and me and Nikki were left in the living room alone watching tv

he thought for a second I herd a chuckle come out well we would probably be a couple down the block with a potato farm you and me both would probably be at least 50 pounds heavier

No I chuckled but not one bit we wouldn't be where we are now and you and me both would be seriously unhappy I think anyway, it's just weird to think about I love our little life I smiled
