Chapter-37

Raghav held her hand and asked her to join in while making space for pallavi.

She turned around and said "I do not think there is enough space for both of us"

Mumbling to himself raghav bent over the edge of the couch and pulled the string attached to the couch,which unleashed the bed under.

Pallavi was surprised watching couch turned into small bed.at her surprise he said "most of the time I wouldn't get time to go back home,I used to spend night on the couch,seeing that Farhad bought two in one couch/bed. Hop on"

Pallavi hesitated for a moment but eventually gave in and  slipped into the bed next to him.Her heart was pounding knowing he was right next to her .to control her wandering mind she asked "Tell me what have you been doing past week,other than bugging me with calls every hour"

He chuckled as he pulled her closer, wrapped his arm around her waist , breathing in on back of her head he mumbled "I have been working non stop managed to complete few project last week.which let me have some free time,which I wanted to spend with you,but you were in hyderbad. any way ,catched up with few old fiends after a long time other than that nothing much" they discussed few more  things before sleeping off.

Next day when some one tapped on the door,Pallavi woke up first. She immediately realized she was in raghav cabin, she tried to pull away from raghav but he doesn't let her go

Pallavi poked his shoulder and whispered in his ear  "Raghav some one is knocking on the door.can you please wake up and open the door"

"Let them knock,after a long time my wife sleeping next to me,I do not have any intention to entertain any people" saying that he went back to sleep

At the mention of word wife,Pallavi hear started to pound faster,consoling herself Pallavi managed to push him away from her and started towards to washroom situated at the end of the room .before entering she said "it's up to you whatever  you want to do with them.its nine in the morning,you should have started your day way before. if someone trying to disturb you at this time,it must be important. I wouldn't be leaving you any time soon, so can you please attend them" she said as she closed the door behind

After a long time raghav had a good sleep,he could get use to this.he loved when she boss him around,smiling to himself he went to the door and opened  the door. To his surprise,his mom and preethi were waiting on him by door

Confusingly he opened the door as they entered the cabin ,before he could question them anything entire staff followed behind them

Staff looked as puzzled as him ,when his mother said "I know you people are surprised with my sudden visit,my son left me no choice other than this surprise visit, today I want to introduce you to preethi,who is famous jewellary designer who has been working under raghav for a long time in South Africa .she would be joing this office from today onwards and also more importantly she is raghav fiance who have been engaged to him more than six months. I would appreciate if you people take care of her when I am not around"

When croud heard raghavs mother announcment they gasped in unison, none of them were aware he had been engaged and for such a long time.they stated to whisper among themself

Pallavi opened the door heating the commotion outside,she moved towards croud when she saw entire staff in the cabin,she was about ask nandini what was happening when she heard raghav mother announcing his engagement to preethin who was standing right next to raghav

On hearing her words Pallavi felt knot I  her stomach,she felt as though some one punched straight into her gut taking her breath away, consoling herself she looked one last time at raghav,who was already staring at her with the guilt. She somehow managed go out of the company without causing any chaos

Absent mindedly She wanderd around the street of banglore.she couldn't not digest what happened earlier . it's almost evening when she decided to return home

When she reached apartment,she felt sick. Pitying herself she took the elevator to the floor.when elevator reached her floor she saw raghav waiting on her near her door .

Seeing him she felt depressed, she turned around to go back when raghav caught hold of her hand and moved in front of her

"Pallavi I can explain,I wanted to talk to you on this way earlier but couldn't know how to tell you,today I was going to tell you before everything happened

Pallavi pulled her hand away from him with a rage clapped her hands "congratulations raghav you got successful in taking revenge on your sister's death.i was a fool to believe you,i should have realized when a person who hated me for a years suddenly turned soft on me. You made me fall for you again and when you realized there is no way back for me you spilled your plan"

"You are over reacting and acting like child imagining your own story,do not bring kirthi into it"

Hearing him Pallavi moved towards stairs to go out of his sight she needed space away from hin

She descended down the stairs of apartment,raghav following closely behind her trying to convince Pallavi,but they met with nandini on the way down.

Nandini was lost in her own world,she didn't even notice Pallavi,
Pallavi called her name multiple times when she snapped out of her dream land and turned back at them.nandini was about tell something to Pallavi when she observed raghav was also there, she hesitated for a moment but making her mind, she asked Pallavi "can you give me a company,I am feeling low today"

Pallavi gave quick glance at raghav before nodding to nandini.
Nandini quickly grabbed Pallavi hand and pulled her towards their shared apartment

Before they enter to the home,raghav called Pallavis name making them to stop on their way
"I want to discuss the topic which we left off earlier, nandini if you do not mind can you spare us few minutes" nandini nodded her head and closed the door behind her

"If you think you can blackmail me into speaking,then you are wrong" she said in harsh whisper making sure it's not overheard by nandini.

Raghav took a step back,held her hand and pulled her towards his home and closed the door behind her and pushed her to the wall as he moved close to her "I completely agree you are not happy that I hid my engagement to priti, I am sorry for that. I had called it off when I visited Hyderabad last time,my whole purpose of visit for the same.as my mother was sick I couldn't tell her about ,.preeti is well aware of that and right now she is here only for work purpose nothing more and nothing less" he moved further close to her and whispered  next to her hear " we met again against all odd.i have realized once more I can not live without you,if you think this  messed up situation separate us again,then you are wrong,you were mine and you are mine now and forever. Right now I am letting you go to cool your mind but never ever forget you are mine,saying that he moved little back,kissed her on her temple"
without looking back at him Pallavi unlocked the door and went out
