DJ: Bruh, your so short. *chuckles*

Aaliyah: You always bullying me, plus your like... *stops to think* Your like.. 6,2 - 6,3. *rolls eyes*

DJ: I wouldn't call it bullying, I say teasing but whatever. *shrugs*

Aaliyah: Anyways, what's yout first period teacher?

DJ: Mrs.Bryans. Yours?

Aaliyah: Same! *smiles and does a little happy dance*

DJ: That aint a good thing? I'ma be copying off of you in class. *laughs*

*Aaliyah hits DJ*

DJ: That ain't even hurt. *teases*

Aaliyah: I'ma make it hurt, don't play with me DJ. *raises eyebrows*

DJ: Ight I'm sorry. *smiles*

*Aaliyah and DJ gaze at each other in admiration, but it doesn't last for long once they get to their class.*

Aaliyah: Ahh, we have the same class together! *Cheers*

Journey: Girl I am so excited! But lets cut to the chase. *stares at aaliyah blankly*

Aaliyah: What..? *Confused look appears on her face*

Journey: Girl don't play dumb like I didn't see you and your future husband walking together. *Rolls eyes*

Aaliyah: Journey.. We've been over this. Me and DJ are Just Friends! *shakes head* You know I'm not ready for commitment anyways.

Journey: I know.. But that isn't gonna stop me? I'm sure you hear this all the time but.. You guys..

*Aaliyah cuts off Journey and finises her sentence*

Aaliyah: -guys would look really good together.. Your right, I have heard it before. *Stares at Journey with a straight face.*

Journey: Okay, I'm sorry. *says sarcastically* But I think you should consider it, the only reason I keep talking about you and Dj is because... what can I say? *scoffs* I'm somewhat of a.. Therapist? So the more I put into your head about you and him, the more you'll start thinking about him. Which ends up manipulating your mind into changing your mind! I'm so smart. *Flips ponytail*

[ AALIYAH'S PERSPECTIVE ]

I sit and copy off notes from the board, Ms.Bryans said we were gonna need it for a coming up test. School just started and we're already getting prepared for a test? I don't understand how people... Study? How it goes with me, the teacher explains/teaches the main thing we'll be learning about for our test and I use that knowledge of what they taught us for the test. Not that I don't wanna study, but the thing is.. I'm not sure how too? I glance over at DJ. He's just sitting there cracking jokes and talking to Armani. DJ's never took school serious. But somehow gets good grades? If it wasn't for me giving him the answers, he probably wouldn't be on the football team.. *scoffs* But.. He's been my best friend for 3 years... And I don't know why this came to mind but? It's like these people have power over my brain. Specifically Journey. It's like she knows my next move or what not? And the worst part is... Now I'm thinking about him.. I just don't wanna ruin our friendship. We have a good thing between us.. And everyone says it should be more? I don't wanna say my mind IS changing.. But it's crossed my mind every now and then. DJ is fine.. Oh what the hell. *face palms*
