While Rouge was sitting on the couch, watching a movie, she heard a knock
Rouge: Door's open!
She called, and the door swung open, her friends barging in
Sonic: Hey there, Rouge!
Tangle: What's up?
The bat realized nearly all her friends were there. Sonic, Amy, Tails, Team Chaotix, basically the entire main team, including Vanilla and her family
Rouge: What the hell are you all doing here??
Vanilla: Language, please!
Rouge: Answer the question
She flew up and crossed her arms as she landed back on the floor
Amy: Sonic told us that today's Shadow's birthday! And we came to celebrate!
They were all holding up bags, boxes, and other things
Rouge: I'm not sure about this, guys.. You should all know by now Shadow's not the party type of guy..
Tangle: He didn't even come to the celebration party after the Metal Virus! He's making up for it now!
Rouge: *sigh*
Her ears lowered slightly, and she looked upstairs before calling her best friends
Rouge: Shadow, sweetie, come downstairs!
After a while, a door closed, and Shadow appeared at the top of the stairs
Sonic: Shadow! Hey, baby!
He waved at his boyfriend excitedly, said hedgehog stared at all of them, confused
Rouge: Look, they all want to throw you a party for your birthday. How's that sound?
Vector: Cmon, Shadow!
Cream: Please, Mr. Shadow!
Tangle: Live a little!
Charmy: Don't be a party pooper!
Everyone kept shouting words of persuasion to Shadow. His ears lowered, and he glared at all of them
Rouge: See? Now scram!
She pointed to the door. Everyone seemed disappointed, as they stared, walking out
Shadow: Fine!
Immediately, everyone whirled around with excited or surprised expressions
Sonic: Yes! Thank you, baby!
He sped up to Shadow and hugged him. Everyone watched, which Shadow surely noticed
Shadow: Get off!
Sonic: Sorry! Now, let's chill in your room until everyone sets up!
Shadow: Why?
Amy: Because it's a surprise! We just wanted your approval first!
With that, Shadow went with Sonic. The door was shut, and Sonic leaned against it with a smile
Sonic: First time in your room!
Shadow: I know
Sonic: It's nice!
Shadow: It's a little messy..
Sonic: Better than mine! Haha! By the way, you should come over sometime!
He suggested casually, getting off the door and walking over to Shadow's bed
Sonic: It's kinda dark in here, dontcha think?
