Chapter 3

Recap : "Minjeong, who did this to you?!"

Third Person's POV:
Both Yeonjun and Mr. Choi were worried after seeing Minjeong's condition and their eyes fell on Chaeryeong who was looking at them from a distance.

"And you're....."
Mr. Choi's words got interrupted when Chaeryeong spoke.

"We should go inside first, she's too scared."
Chaeryeong said as Yeonjun and Mr. Choi went inside the house along with Minjeong.

Mrs. Choi was roaming here and there in the living room, she looked really stressed.

"Where were you?! And why didn't you pick my calls, do you even realise how worried we all would be?!"
Mrs. Choi stopped yelling when she saw Minjeong's wounds. Her eyes widened and she even saw another girl.

"Wh-Who is she?
She asked and Minjeong started speaking.

She explained everything to everyone. Even how those four people came and saved them. Yeonjun's and Mr. Choi's hands clenched into fists as they heard what happened.

"Thank you so much dear, we can't even convey how thankful we are. Thanks for helping her."
Mrs. Choi said but Chaeryeong shook her head.

"Oh no, it wasn't me."
She said only to make everyone confused.

"It was my friend who helped her, I just dropped her here."
Chaeryeong explained.

"Yes, that girl was really pretty!"
Minjeong's expressions escalated quickly when she started thinking about that girl.

"What is your name by the way?"
Mrs. Choi asked and Chaeryeong smiled.

"My name is Chaeryeong."
She introduced herself.

"My name's Choi Soomin, Minjeong's mother."
Mrs. Choi introduced herself.

"I'm Choi Myung Dae, her dad."
Mr. Choi introduced himself.

"And that's Choi Yeonjun Minjeong's elder brother."
Mr. Choi introduced Yeonjun.

"I'm Choi Sooyun, her grandmother. Thank you so much Chaeryeong."
Grandmother introduced herself too.

"Well, what's your friend's name? And what do you both do?"
Mr. Choi asked.

"Oh, her name's Shin Ryujin and we're new here, I got a job letter from a company. We're currently living in a hotel but we'll soon find a rental apartment."
Chaeryeong said.

"Why don't you stay here with us?"
Mrs. Choi said and Minjeong looked at Chaeryeong with excitement.

"Yes, please say yes!"
Minjeong said but Chaeryeong looked a bit hesitant.

"Please Chaeryeong, I insist."
Yeonjun said to her and Chaeryeong lowered her head.

"Okay, but in one condition."
She said and they all looked at her in confusion.

"What condition?"
Asked Yeonjun.

"That we'll pay our rent to you."
Chaeryeong said and Mr. Choi shook his head. He was about to say something but Chaeryeong spoke again.

"Actually, Ryujin is a self dependent girl so she'll only live here when she pays the rent."
Chaeryeong explained as they all nodded.

"Can I know the name of the company you'll be working for?"
Yeonjun asked.

"Oh, it is Choi Records and Labels."
Everyone's eyes widened at her statement.

"Really?! That's our company!"
Minjeong said as Chaeryeong looked at her in surprise.
