VIV'S POV

"So we are on for tonight right?" Alex asked over the phone. "Yeah," I mumbled. Thursday came pretty soon and I'm leaving for Oregon on Saturday With Wyatt and Ace. Now that I think it's a pretty meaningless trip. I mean what good we could find from that family?

"I will pick you up." He said and I whispered a Yes. I hung up the phone after saying Bye. I'm going to break up with him today. Even though we aren't official he calls me every 10 minutes and it's annoying.

He is a nice guy but he is very clingy and I've found that too hard to handle. "Stella?" I called from inside of my room. "yeah?"

She walked inside the room with an apron. "What are you making?" I asked. "Eggs and coffee for me. No college today?" She asked. "No, Didn't feel like it."

"You feeling alright?" She asked. "Yeah. I'm going out with Alex tonight." I said.

"Ohh.. Date?" she chimed. "No, I'm gonna break up with him. He is too clingy and I can't handle it."

"Well, It lasted longer than the last time." She said raising her eyebrows. "Look at me! Trying to break my record." I said sarcastically as she smiled. "What are you going to wear?" Stella asked.

"I don't know," I said and she removed her apron. "One piece for sure. You are breaking up. Even if it turns out messy you should look good." She started browsing through my wardrobe. She took out a wine-red short dress with a square neck and spaghetti straps.

"It's cold outside!" I whined. "Wear a coat! But you are wearing this." She declared. No point in arguing with her. "When are you leaving?" Stella asked.

"In an hour," I mumbled. "Well Go get ready! We don't have time." I wore that dress fixed it in the mirror and walked outside. Stella smiled at me "You look amazing!" She exclaimed. She did light makeup and fixed my hair.

"Okay done!" she said. "Thank you." I gave her a small hug, put on my coat and ran out of the door.   I got into the passenger seat. "Hi!" Alex smiled and pecked my lips. I responded with a tight smile.

He started driving. The whole ride we just had small awkward talk. His friends were coming too. We reached the bar in approx 30 minutes.

Alex parked his car and we both walked inside. He placed his hands on my back and guided me towards a group of people. Everyone looked at me.

"This is Vivian," Everyone mumbled a Hi and Alex introduced everybody. This is going to be a long night.

*••••••••••*

It's been almost an hour since I got here and I've no idea how to tell Alex so I was just drinking and dancing. I was at that point when I couldn't tell the time correctly.

Alex came behind me and grabbed my waist. His grip tightened as he started dancing to my rhythm. "Alex I need to talk," I said as he started kissing my neck. I tried pushing him but his grip was very tight.

"Alex!" I said pushing him harder and finally freeing myself. He still didn't understand what I was trying to do and pulled me into him. "Viv..." He whispered kissing me and I didn't respond. I looked away breaking the kiss.

"Alex I want to break up with you!" I spoke. "What!" He almost yelled. "Why!?"

"I need space and I just think we are not working out." I said. "Please.Don't do this. You are mine. We are meant to be." He tried kissing me again forcefully whispering, "You are mine, Vivian." I scoffed and pushed him away losing him in the crowd.

I went to sit on the bar stool. "Three Vodka Shots please!" I shouted over the music. Suddenly someone sat beside me. I looked at them while gulping down one Shot.

"Sawyer? HI, What are you doing here?" I smiled. "Miss Hale? Sir would like to talk to you." He said handing me a phone. "I don't want to talk to Ace," I said taking another shot. "He insists." He said and handed me the phone.

"Hello?" I slurred. "Viv, Sawyer will drop you at home. You are way too drunk." Ace declared. Who does he think he is?

"I'm not leaving!" I scoffed and hung up. "Miss Hale. It's for the best!" Sawyer said as I handed him his phone. "I'm having Fun, why would I want to leave?" I said.

"It doesn't seem that way. And if you don't leave Sir will come here and force you to leave." Sawyer said as I stood up. "No, he won't." I laughed. "Yes, he will because he texted me saying he is coming here."

"Well then let me enjoy till then," I asked the bartender to prepare me a glass of whiskey. I took the glass and went into the crowd.

I started dancing as if it was the last day of my freedom. I know sooner or later I have to join my father because the limited options we have the only way to win this fight is to join him. Then I can try to convince him to do something good and maybe be at peace with Ace's Mafia. I've Got to do what's important to save my brother, Right?
